I joined the game when it was first made public. It showed so much promise and was a truly enjoyable experience, embracing the role play of being a Vanguard and doing your part.
Now, the game feels dead with several minutes of wait time just to join a single game, further letting you down with a janky gaming experience.
The diversification of the additional class types feels like it detracts from the unique feel the original classes had.
After leaving it for several months to give the game time to be refined, I returned and found it to be just as bad as when I put it down.
If you are a die hard Starship Troopers fan, I wish you the best of luck finding your enjoyment in this game.

With over 2k hours, I am still discovering things to do. The underlying story is one of the best I have encountered yet, along with content that is keeping me busy, including new content being added all the time by the developers. You don't often encounter such a beautiful game with such such constant support from the developers.

Having joined Keen Software on their journey when Space Engineers had just hit Steam, there have been many ups and downs.

There were bad patches (That horrible net code rework) and great patches (Hello optimizations!).

Overall, I'm happy with the original idea to purchase and support this game. It has grown over the years and become something that I have sunk more than 700 hours into (and counting). The limits of creativity keep expanding (especially since they introduced the programmer's block) and I look forward to seeing how far this game can go.
