You're piloting a V Rising character, with League of Legends abilities, modified by Slay the Spire relics, and you navigate a FTL node map while the Hunter/Rebel Fleet chases you towards the boss. It's a solid roguelite, and I'm excited to replay this one to see all that it offers. At time of writing, have played exclusively in co-op and encountered no bugs.

I've been spending much less time typing lately, and figured a typing game would be a good way to stay in practice.

Roguelite horde survival, plays as advertised with a clean minimalist aesthetic. Solid gameplay with choices between more active and passive "weapons," and with only one truly passive turret you'll always be typing during the course of a run. It's quite engaging, with powerups and bosses forcing you to split your attention across what's happening on screen.

The only real complaint I'd have is that visual clarity can be lacking in later stages, or with effects such as the beam weapon obscuring text. It would be appreciated if there was a list of "active" words on the side of the UI, maybe listed in order of closest to your weapon. Or perhaps text being always-on-top with a transparent background?

A solid entry to the typing space, more engaging than Typing of the Dead to me. Especially for roguelite enthusiasts, would strongly recommend.

Quick, casual, co-op shenanigans. It's like Alien Swarm meets Magicka, where your spells are airstrikes and mechs and the missions are randomly generated. There's three different races and exactly a dozen different difficulties for players of all sorts to enjoy.
Infinitely more enjoyable with good friends.

Alien Swarm is back, and it's got up to 8 players and workshop support. Servers are a tad slow right now but besides that, it's definitely worth the price tag and then some.

I mean, you can all see the trailer. That's what you're buying.

Story's not very long, but there's a ton of secrets for the curious completionists. The game as a whole is more like a gorgeous tech demo with some of the most unique mechanics you'll find in the current market, though it should be noted there's a moderate amount of content included besides just the time-moving story/endless/challenge modes.

If you watch the trailer, and feel comfortable paying for what you see and only what you see, you'll be pleasantly surprised that the game offers just a bit more than that. If not, go play a shooter that fits your tastes.

It's good and it keeps getting better. I purchased this game in early access, and the community and developers are very active in making this game an enjoyable experience.

The grind is at a medium level compared to other free-to-play games, in a week you'll have the ship you want but you definitely won't have all of them.

As a MOBA, the team strength/individual strength is akin to Heroes of the Storm- resources are perfectly shared among your team. One kill benefits all of you equally, and as a result you must make smarter decisions if your team is behind in levels.

Matchmaking is relatively slow and occasionally you'll have one or two outclassed members on a team, but this is likely to improve with more players in the matchmaking system.

At the very least, it's free. I highly recommend you try it out yourself.

League of Legends? Defense of the Ancients? Heroes of the Storm? Obviously, the real name of the game is Fractured of Space.
