Trash. First game has way better mechanics. You're punished in this game for learning more about the characters? It's also possible for the girls to get mad at random things when you clear sections and new blocks fall down, causing out of your control instant loss on puzzles.

Man the AI is so so so bad. Dive bombing in corners on their rail sometimes knocking you off but they never fall off? Always starting a race at the back making it overly difficult to catch up to the leaders. Obvious rubberbanding. Career mode is horrible because of this, even on the easiest difficulty.

Also your bike always starts with horrible understeer and you have to tweak the suspension (and save the settings) before your first race or you'll never make turns properly. This isn't told to you anywhere, you just have to get frustrated enough in career mode to start tweaking a bunch of settings before you realize it. Waste of time.

I was not a fan of star wars before this game. Now I want to read and watch everything star wars.

Weird decisions really hold this game back.

The grind if you want a bunch of leveled up cars is just obnoxious.
They really only give you enough money and rep to have 2-3 cars fully modded by the end of campaign and then you just grind night races for reps.
Except night races are full risk/reward with the cops busting you and eliminating all rep gained. I've had cop cars literally teleport in front of me and bust me, or they nick me into objects that are difficult to tell if they're solid or breakaway. If its solid, instant bust. What a waste of time.

Every time you enter the map you enter from the same garage far from all the races so you have to do a fast travel selection workaround. Every time.

You have to slowly scroll to the right forever to get through the dealership car list to find the cars you want, then when you buy it, it exits you out into the open world... so you have to reload the dealership and scroll all the way again. Every time.

The parts don't show you which option (road, rally, etc) you've equipped on the vehicle from the parts overview screen, you have to click into each selection to see which version it is. Every time.

There's a bunch more but you get the jist.

Gameplay wise, the driving mechanics in the beginning are horrible. After a couple upgrades it's pretty good if you stick to Road/Track but this is also a preference.

I actually enjoyed the really corny story. Would have been cool if there were more side characters in cutscenes (There's only about 6 NPCs in Cutscenes). Also missed opportunity to have side characters driving around the actual city, it's barren.

Clunky UI, non-satisfying combat, terrible inventory management, and lack of information (on skills, crafting, weapons, map, and decisions in general) make this game tedious just to make it "realistic". Not fun due to poor game design.

Git Gud to hunt Monsters

Horrible UI for managing weapons, items, and maps/waypoints. Guns never feel strong enough and enemies all feel like sponges. No real way to compare weapons other than trying them out and seeing if it kills enemies faster. Which somehow isn't enjoyable when you add it to how easy Normal difficulty is, you just strafe around enemies and fill them up with bullets until you run out of ammo and switch guns. That's when you find out how far ammo machines are.
I do like the skill trees though and Fl4k is an awesome character.

Story is Super Hot Garbage. Humor is Meh and better in earlier games.
