Notus 最近的评测

Right, I'm going to preface this by making it clear how much I hate writing reviews. I'm only writing this in response to the recent review-bombing, which may cause misunderstanding outside of the game's community.

Of course, this issue was caused by the recent "Veilbreaker" update. As other reviews sums up pretty well, the Veilbreaker update nerfed AOE weapons, but also the Wukong warframe among some other things, which I feel caused unrest in just as many people. Of course, many of the complaints are from players who've already had hundreds or even thousands of hours of positive experience (else, why would they still play?) in a game that is, mind you, free. I suppose that in their Blind Rage (pun intended - you know if you play,) they think that this is the equivalent of killing the game.

To me, I believe these nerfs are fair, and would even go as far to say they're necessary.
The value of a game should be judged by both the quality of the game itself and how much entertainment can be wringed out of it. For the price of free, Warframe still manages to be one of the few games I return to consistently. Even with a few updates hurting the gear I use, it makes no ultimate difference due to the nature of the game. for each nerf DE makes, they add in another pile of powerful items.

While this review is to add a slap of truth to the recent negative reviews, it being a positive review isn't to try and balance that out. I've been needing to write one anyways.
After all, what's one compliment in a sea of hatred?

When the game was first released, it showed much promise and had great potential. That was over a year ago.
Now, the game has long since died from a lack of updates. And even worse, they sold out to Earth2. I used to love this game, back when it was being developed, but now, it's an outright waste of money.
