Overrun & Ruined by Microtransactions

I have over 500 hours on Blood Bowl 2, and you can guess I saw the announcement of the new version with great enthusiasm. I held off getting it, though, because the messy release and flood of bad reviews made it clear it was worth waiting. I waited over a year and a half, and got it extremely cheaply.

I can honestly say, it is barely worth the price.

It seems a markedly worse game comparative to its predecessor. I am ignoring the rules changes from the first game, as this is not their fault. What is a problem is the amount of NICKEL & DIMING in this game. You will notice the lack of DLC here. That is because they have made it in the in-game store. This means that no sale will effect the pricing of these teams, and each extra team costs around 7 euros in 'warpstone'. You will have to spend 51 euros in in-game currency (which doesn't come in clean increments enough for you to do this) to gain access to the 8 extra factions available. Combined with the current cost of the game in 28/09/2024 that means a total expenditure of around 81 euros to experience the full access of JUST THE TEAMS. This does not include all the BS passes and other cosmetic attractions that Cyanide has put into this game.

DO NOT BUY IT AND SUPPORT THESE KIND OF PRACTICES

I got it with a CD Key, so I cannot refund it, unfortunately. You do not need to make this mistake. AVOID.
