Just having a nose about, reading about some guy getting banned, Im assuming its the same one that was in discord being weird as hell who linked his shady racist stream clip. Good riddance.
In terms of the pre-alpha, I am enjoying it. I can see where it's heading (functionality with loot, crafting, setting up base etc.) and it's looking promising. For now you just have to adapt to the pre-alpha ways. If i want to get to Union point, il just log out and in til I spawn near there randomly then start fresh. Having no issues surviving now with the fix to spawning all sorts of important loot (meds, melee weapons, firearms and food).

Most people just need to check forums if they want to understand how to enjoy the game as it is now. Instead of running around in fields lost, not using the map and getting nowhere. (Surprises me how many people cant use structures/rivers/mountains/roads as reference points to figure out where they are on the map).

All good you are correct if people are not happy with a pre-alpha then we do recommend they wait until the ALPHA stage when all features will be in but right now there is alot in everything in my review IS however you are unable to see that due to loot being broken right now

He a mod @sizzyy and thus not likely to be privy to internal development roadmaps and progress. Given the scale of the game wait another 6 months and it should be mostly stable and mechanically complete. I would estimate approximately one to three more years for feature completion.

The build is just completely broken right now everything in my review if you seen it just assuming here is in the game and working you should see the loot sorted by today aswell

Ignore the trolls and utter idiots, Mod away, And rid of the stupid people just doubting the game. They NEVER understand EA. At this point its beyond annoying seeing people bash EA titles so quick. You can tell people never read the descriptions and so on.
