Helldivers 2: Betrayal of Trust

It is with a heavy heart that I must write this review, for the promise of victory has been cruelly snatched away from us by the treacherous hand of Sony. Despite the removal of forced account tethering, our celebration was short-lived as Sony revealed their true colors with a devastating blow: blocking Helldivers 2 in all countries where the PlayStation Network is not available.

This act of betrayal strikes at the very core of what it means to be a Helldiver, undermining the principles of inclusivity and unity that we hold dear. No longer can players from around the world join together in the fight for freedom; instead, they are left stranded on the sidelines, their voices silenced and their spirits broken by the callous actions of a corporate behemoth.

The decision to block Helldivers 2 in regions without access to the PlayStation Network is not just a slap in the face to the loyal fans who have supported the franchise since its inception—it's a blatant disregard for the values of democracy and equality that we strive to uphold. By denying access to the game based on arbitrary geographic boundaries, Sony has shown that they care more about profit margins than the well-being of their player base.

But perhaps what stings the most is the sense of betrayal that comes from being led astray by false promises of freedom and independence. We allowed ourselves to believe that Sony had seen the error of their ways, only to be blindsided by yet another act of corporate greed and arrogance.

In conclusion, while Helldivers 2 may still hold promise as a thrilling cooperative experience, its legacy will forever be tarnished by the betrayal of trust perpetrated by Sony.
