Don't buy this game.

Three main issues plague this game:
Content
Developers
Rewards

For content, most activities will be scarce in their season pass cycle. There isnt much to do and with the bar raising every season it gets fairly boring. Towards the end, after content is released there is plenty to do, however, the previous activities from prior seasons do not provide higher level loot, and since the content is aged most people will not run it.

For Developers: Read above on content, add the fact that the most prized loot is hidden behind cheaters and imbalance in a pvp environment, then add in because of this pvp environment class changes and nerfs affect the pve end. Weapon tuning and class tuning can make things that felt great in pve terrible because they dont separate the sandbox.

Rewards:
See the above two posts on my presentation on the rewards dilemma. They fixed the issue if power creep from pinnacle weapons for the most part, however, some good frames are hidden behind frustrating content. The level grind is limited weekly to pinnacle activities that will give you multiple dupes and without an organized group your raid experience may vary. Good loadouts for raid activities.. you will have to run them to make running them easier. Higher level night falls for the upgrade materials, and now bounties from gunsmith to purchase mods for builds if you plan to be effective. This will be time consuming for a player first starting.

All in all, if a line was drawn and a clear picture was given for both sides of the fence.. pve and pvp .. the game could be good. Cheaters need to be removed, fun engaging activities need to be added, and an approachable feel and use for every class they have available with fun works in pve and better tuning that doednt affect pve in pvp.

This game is a hot mess and infuriating until you reach endgame.
That's when the fun begins. You haven't played this game until you have an Experimental PVG90.
When you have this all machines become game and the map is a safari where you and your band if goons run wild to see how many machines you can bag until the Reaper spawns. The small community of dedicated players I have hunted the Reaper with has been the best 20 hours of gameplay I have had in recent games. With more support, more players, and perhaps some fine tuning this game could become a Masterpiece.

Pros:
At Endgame the game feels like an aim trainer. Precision will go a long way.
Very fun to play in a group.
Steep learning curve if you're going in blind.

Cons:
Skill Specialization feels useless unless you go Marksman.
-15% damage bonus to unaware enemies in particular doesnt fit with the game style.
Loot distribution feels weak. See below notes.
-I skipped the tiers of looting as you deal next to zero damage with the lower tier weapons.
--Mag attachments are essentials that you do not get until you take down tanks/harvesters.
I ran an ak with a 41 mag and felt horrible dumping 800 7.62 rounds into tanks solo
--- Exp PVG 90 takes around 6 shots to kill the same machine if you only hit crits
---- 5 Star PVG I would use about 100 rounds or so. Harder to hit crit spots.
BUGGY. I've had numerous crashes after long periods of combat.
Notably when a machine drops too much ammo.
