OK DLC. I found myself only playing it for completion's sake. Adds shield customization after a few quests in but I don't use shields so it is maybe only good for hanging them in your Legacy of the Forge home on the wall.

Decent DLC but completing all of it involves waiting/sleeping days until it gives you the repetitive side activity that you need to progress. Doesn't add anything new to the blacksmithing mini-game but gives you a customizable home and forge.

still fairly buggy throughout the entire DLC. The climax of the dlc had a bug that ruined it for me. Wait for a deeper sale and for them to fix it

Day one patch fixed issues.*

Story mode is short (about 4 hours).
Boats in regular campaign worth it.

even after several patches it still feels unfair and unfun to play. Wait for 1.0 release and maybe it'll be better

I enjoyed the demo so I got this to play with friends but I have recurring game crashes. Ideally, the crashes will be fixed but I wish we could rejoin mid-game instead of having to wait for the next jump. I crashed on the final part one time so I couldn't rejoin. (using EVGA RTX 2070)

it's an ok free game but not a very good Skate game.
-Music is meh,
-art style is bland, ugly characters
-awful, annoying voice acting (turn off VO audio and turn off gameplay vee comments)

Try to get any Skate 1-3 used or set up on emulator if you've never played them.

Rough with randoms but better with friends

Not as hard as Elden Ring but difficult in different ways

I didn't want to give this a negative review because it is still a very fun game.

Many quests can still get bugged so save often. It still needs polishing as many small things add up to make it feel unfinished (A-posing npcs and enemies, bugged quests, bugged ai, items falling off shelves, performance issues/crashes).

For $50 this should be a bit more complete. Wait for a sale and play the original.

I'm grateful for the free weekend because now I'm taking it off my wish-list.
