I loved this game so much that I kept playing it when I probably should've went to bed. I felt it the next morning, but it was worth it.

Pros:
- The claustrophobic nature of the game makes you worried about what's around every corner (may be a con to some).
- The lore isn't shoved down your throat, but rather it's optional through collectible journal entries.
- Not every opportunity is taken for a jump scare. This is great because it allows the game to be unpredictable.
- The infrared camera that you need to see in the dark has a small field of vision that makes you almost dread to use it (in a good way).

Cons:
- This game shows its age with the graphics being a little outdated. This is a very minor con, as the game is six years old at this point.
- The doorways are glitchy and cause AI and players to get stuck.

If you end up buying the game, plan on playing it in one sitting. And don't wake up your neighbors with your little girl screams!

After playing this game and really enjoying it I personally think it's worth a try for anybody interested in the story. Yes it may be a bit expensive (for the length of the story) but the story told was great and had me interested and nervous at times. If I were to recommend this game to someone I would suggest waiting for a sale or price drop because the price is really the only issue I can think of when it comes to Firewatch. It's more than just a walking simulator it's an interactive story with a few secrets tucked away for you to discover.
