takes a year to grind through a tree to get to a vehicle I'll only play for a week.

Do the word best and dont bother with this Microtransaction ridden hellscape until it gets fixed.

For the 10 hours that I was able to play and review this game when it first released, it was actually pretty good in its game-play and graphics.
with 7,000 hours of Arma 3 however, I can provide the safe conclusion that this game is not worth the 29.99$(USD) price tag and I shall provide the reasoning below.

1. lack of a sufficient editor (similar to eden) to allow for easy placement of units and objects *before* a units operation
2. Rapid forced disconnections from servers due to connection issues (this has plagued the game since release and has yet to be fixed) that quite literally was the cause of death for the multiplayer community of this game/tech demo
3. graphical errors (trust me, if you look for them you'll easily find them)
4. with a 3090 and up to date computer parts, my frames still struggle at anything higher than medium settings.
5. inconsistent updates: for a tech demo to allow for mods to be converted to Enfusion, it sure is lacking a lot of content for that to be necessary (even a full year later)

I am sure that much of this will have been fixed by the time the 4th installment of the Arma series debuts; but until then, save your money for something you'll actually be able to enjoy with friends (you still cannot do local host in Reforger).

(Side note: in the time from the games release to present (as of 2.17.23) there is yet to be any major additions to this product other than 'quality of life' updates. there still is no tracked vehicles, there still is no planes; and other than content creators making it themselves, there still is no helicopters)
