Thats not how steam moderation works. They give a warning first and then a temp ban and then a longer ban. I would know, ive been perma banned from boards before. Unless its a dev/game specific mod. If they work for steam then thats the pattern they usually follow

Unless you typed something so offensive that they just skipped the warning, and assuming you arent forgetting about a previous warning on literally any other board (because they can carry over), thats going to be what happens.

Yes the moderators are not held accountable for inconsistent action, but they still enforce the rules. You'd have to be an idiot to not realize that they wouldnt let you keep that name. Even Xbox LIVE in the 360 days forced off inappropriate name changes. I didnt even see the post that got you removed, but im going to assume it was not as tame as me likening you to Struggle Tweets. Players don’t love your server. Randoms pick it because it’s often only one of two active daily. Regulars know how abusive you guys are, but will put up with it when it’s dead. And all your friends enjoy messing around with zero consequences. You made the mistake of acting like this with such a low population game. Now you’ll get votekicked if anyone recognizes a wasteland mod on official, because of how you’ve treated people. One private server isn’t a community. It’s a terrarium of wannabe mods.
