It's been almost 20 hours, and I keep getting caught off guard by Siffrin repeating my thought process back word for word to the party members. Why is he me?!

Edit: I finished the game.

Oh this is was written by someone who has gone through VERY similar struggles that I have!

(Am I referring to time loops or trauma? I'll never tell~)

Made it
And then found the intended solution within 20 seconds

The vibes are perfect, absolutely a huge fan of silly one-horned goat-things. Give me two more goat-things!

A cute game where the main mechanic is about slowing down, and giving things time to show you how they work and what they want from you!

It's esoteric, as you'll see by the number of "I don't understand the mechanics" reviews. But that's what I think makes it special, it trusts you to find out on your own and explore. Take it slow. The worst thing you could do is rush a bad solution and give up! You often learn by setting things up before bed and seeing how it all played out in the morning.

But seeing as I'm nearing the end and almost have everything done, I think this game very much deserves a nice review! It's cute, the mechanics play out very nicely, and feel significantly more rewarding knowing I figured them out myself! I love my little town and I always love just watching the villagers do their thing (Most of the 80 hours of playtime is watching them go on the bottom of my monitor)

This game was something special, and scratched the itch for long term progress I've been dying to find!

Also if you're feeling like you can't see enough on screen like I was, stretch the window out to be short and wide! The game handles custom aspect ratios really well, and you can see your entire town at once if you really want to!

So let's be real. The health has been ♥♥♥♥ for YEARS and constantly going down. With the only living competition being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gacha game that also feels bad to play (Identity V) they really have no incentive to do anything about it.

So where is this game now. With killer desync, stun/pallet validation, maps constantly being disabled with unreachable totems, a new hidden MMR system where one game can fluctuate you from new players to veterans and back one match from each other, and new rank system that requires far too much time to hit rank 1 for a small amount of BP that only rewards people who play hundreds on hours in a month and likely has all P3. I don't even remember all the garbage going on right now.

And now we got the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NFT partnered with @otogomes who is a far-right, 9-11 Truther, anti-vaxxer, who is losing the rights in MONTHS to the original creator who has no part of this. BHVR employees are claiming they were completely unaware their hard work was going into this ♥♥♥♥. And now suddenly post from devs like @Spac3Hgh0s7_ saying "So um, completely unrelated to anything but unequivocally ♥♥♥♥ NFTs" are getting deleted.

If you can't be assed to care about your players, devs, or rightful content holders, why the ♥♥♥♥ are we here?

EDIT: So the game is down after basic mechanics are causing soft locks and desync. Good patch. You managed to ruin the game more between PTB and release again. Here's videos so everyone can remember!

Edit again: I'll be damned, the game feels good again!

There's definitely growing pains on a game this old (High amounts of characters/abilities/knowledge)
Though I do appreciate that they're making efforts to make collections relatively more obtainable

This is currently the time I see the most variety in what players bring into match, limited modes are refreshing, and damn, it's just fun again!
