A must-have for VR

Looks amazing in menu, but runs horribly in campaign.
I'm unsure as to why my system is having such an issue playing this game, but it's not designed for Xbox controllers and from the looks of it you'd have to manually configure each and every single control from scratch to not have to deal with the gas pedal being tied to the camera controls if you want to try "Gamepad Default".
I'm certain I'm missing something here, but even with this game set to high priority it is closer to that of a slide show than anything else.
I've tried lowering the resolution, lowering the graphics, closing all background tasks, running it as an administrator, literally everything I could think of. Even running a full system scan for corrupted system files through CMD. Nothing helped.
My specs exceed the minimum and recommended requirements. I just can't figure out why it runs as if "Slide Show" is the only option.
The system specs in question:
- i5-12600k
- 32gbs RAM
- RTX 3060 12GB

It's unfortunate that I don't currently own any racing sim stuff to give it another shot, but after fiddling around with settings repeatedly, I'm just going to refund this game. It looks and sounds amazing, but if I can't run it, I guess I'll have to refund it.

TL:DR game sucks. If "Switch Port" doesn't inspire confidence, don't touch it. I regret paying for this. If I could refund every cent I spent, I would. Don't bother with Sunbreak DLC unless you're certain you actually like the game.

Bought the game shortly after it came out, paid for rise + DLC, played a few hours and noticed the hit reg for Switch Axe was atrocious.
Tried it again after a few updates, still have to stand so close to the monster that my blade was completely past the monster.
Went back to Monster Hunter World to see if I was crazy and had no issues.
Came back to Rise and noticed that unless the handle of the Switch Axe was what was hitting the monster and not the blade, the hit wouldn't count.
Started game in offline mode and the problem persisted.
Found out that they made it so you had to stand closer to the monsters intentionally compared to World.
Endemic life doesn't react to large monster presence.
Eating consists of picking 3 colorful balls and deep-throating it all.
Game felt like a crappy mobile port to PC and played like it too.

I played this game maybe once or twice. Got scared, and then didn't come back.
I literally just haven't reinstalled it because I just haven't been in the mood to play "scary" games.
It ran fine, Don't remember much about it though so try it for yourself.

I bought this game entirely to make up with someone I used to know.
never played it before. I kicked his ass.
10/10 game
4/10 for making me aware of what I'm doing
6/10 for controls because I just button mashed and it kept working
10/10 for visuals

Best distraction I've ever spent my time on.

Forget settling arguments in smash, use this game!

Let's be real.
You bought this game because it was in the background to Skrillex full album uploads on youtube and thought "That looks like fun!"
Guess what? It is. Maps are based off of the audio files you upload.

Unless you can deal with cheaters and hackers, best avoid this game. Rockstar protects this game about as much as they protect their public servers for GTA5, so.... not at all.
Other than that, it's a good game.

It's best just to get the complete master chief collection.
