A chaotic, highly unstable yet heavily teamwork-management game that's fun for everyone with a decent computer. I wish I could serve rats to customers though.

I am not even a pixel artist but if I were I'd use this as my main tool. It has pretty much everything you'd need to make pixel art.

Of course pixel art is real art. Definitely. If anyone said otherwise they didn't know ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This game have almost everything I'd have wanted... Great story, soundtracks, visual and humor...

Definitely recommended. Without spoilers, for the best experience.

Cool steampunk aesthetic, great soundtrack, challenging gameplay.

And child labour. Very good.

Surprisingly addictive if you place your plants in a non symmetrical pattern just to pissed off a lot of people.

Oh and, nostalgic and fun, yes.

If you've played Simcity before the days of microtransactions, then this is pretty much the "less detailed" medieval version of that.

The game have a "decent but not horrible" graphic and not so eyesoringly bad to look at, it doesn't require a god-like computer to run (except in winter.) and the design are pretty good.

The hardest part of the game is probably in the beginning, since you've to make enough food for winter (and firewoods.) with various realistic problems while playing. But not to the point where it's god-forsakenly annoying.

However, once you've deal with food shortages and established all of the things your village need, there's nothing afterwards. Which makes it rather boring. Sure, there might be some nomads and traders comes by from time to time. But there's isn't any "End-game" challenges to be seen.

The game is fun at first and the concept is interesting, but keep in mind that it's going to be boring afterwards.

This game, this bloody game, is worth trying. If you're into RPG & apocalypse.

Sure, the controls are rather hard to get used to, but once you did, it's all fun and thrilling.
My custom-made coffin PC can run this, so I'm pretty sure yours can too, as long as you didn't brought it from a junkyard.

The in-game radio is rather boring in my opinion, so I'd just seperately opens youtube to listen musics instead, now I can listen to big iron for 10 hours.

Also, eating corpse is a feature here, and that's an instant 9/11 to me.


P.S. Make sure you save every 10 mins, otherwise you'll ended up killing yourself.

Unturned 3.0 is a F2P survival game, and it was probably my 2nd most played game on steam, ever. I like the concept of it, post-apocalyptic survival. What's not to like?

Well, first of all. Nearly all of the servers you can find is PVP, not vanilla survival. Maybe you can find at least 12 survival servers that doesn't have extra plugins as a clutch, in the entire world. Oh and don't expected one to last forever, they probably have map-reset bollocks or they ran on their mommy's wallet fund, so yes. They are less survival servers than PVP servers. Which just make Unturned, becames a bootleg Fortnite.

Yes, you people want PVP, but I don't. We have our own opinions.

But that's not the kicker. Not the main topic, and certainly not the reason why I don't recommend this game, this is just one of many reasons why I don't play this game anymore.

The main reason is this, it's repetitive.
I'll simplified this in a way you'd understand.

You spawn
You Find loot
You make base
You maintain base every 8 am to 8 pm
You refill generator
You no go outside so you don't die
You became hermit
Your base go boom by someone else.
You go mad, you change server or you fight.

Or
You spawn
You find loots
You fight.

That's Unturned. You can see there's very little survival (unless you count fighting each other as survival in that case every FPS games is a survival game, which is correct but not in the way I'm referring, stop sidetracking.)

In-short, if you want a zombie survival game that's FREE, and you want to play with your friends, play it, make sure you open your own servers or try your luck on playing one of those survival servers. Whatever floats your boat.

If you want to play a FREE version of Fortnite, this game is for you aswell.

But if you want to play a TRUE post-apocalyptic zombie game that is not repetitive, predictable nor toxic. This this game might not be your favourite cup of tea.


"But-but Unturned 2.0 is coming and it will be BETTER!"
This review is mainly focused on Unturned 3. Not 2.0, I've seen it and it's... "rather disappointing but somewhat promising".

It's a very good game, and there's not much bots around like the past years.
Still have some cheaters, but manageable.

Fun for the whole family.
