An entirely engaging experience. It even taps the "just one more run" impulse better than the first game. Would recommend.

Don't know what to tell you, honey -- it's a game about Yakuza and anthropomorphic mascot people. It's either going to be the most emotionally disarming game you play this decade or you don't have a soul.

A simultaneous send off and next installment in the story of Kazuma Kiryu, it is an extremely bite sized modern entry into the franchise with a similar form factor as it's original beat'em'up origins.

The game is genuinely wholesome, a bit cut and paste in places, but that can be said of a lot of previous entries. The stakes aren't as monumental and awesome as other installments, but that's to the strength of the story; it's a story with inimitable personal stakes. Very rarely does something of this I'll bring you to the same depths of emotion as that of such an entangled, grief sticken person.

I recommend it.

RimWorld will always be a perennial favorite of mine. Very rarely is there a game that simply out of the box is capable of being so many aesthetics and playstyles at once. Want to play a tribal village stuck in the bronze age fighting robots? Good deal, totally possible. Want to aspire to a post scarcity utilitarian utopia, fully automated gay space communism? Yes, here you go.

On top of that, the modding community is off the charts and chaotically wholesome to boot.

A+ would recommend, it's thoroughly riveting and has something for all comers, from sweaty min maxers to the casual story enjoyers.

I'm not the kind of person to like survival horror games per se, but this is the game of horror adjacent tendency that I will evangelize to the ends of the Earth.

Reject modernity, return to cookie.

Caves of Qud is a rogue-like with a lot of depth. There's a whole magic system. There's a whole perk system. There's a whole bionics system. It all braids together so well, and it has such good replay value. And it's not even out of early access yet.
