This game is good, but it's got some issues.

The big one that's on everyone's mind is:
Variety
- Builds barely change between runs, this could be fixed by adding more interesting options for upgrade selection after killing a boss. The buffs activated by specific actions are really interesting, and could really make the game shine. Otherwise, any buffs that aren't just "Teehee bigger numbers" would be well appreciated.

- The RNG on maps is never enough to make you actually change your run, you go to the same specific buildings every single time, picking up small random encounters on the way to each place. If we could have these places keep giving the same loot types, but make their locations randomized it would really help the game feel just a little better. However, what should actually happen is a full on map randomization. Give us like 4-5 rotating maps, give them each map hazards, and give us interesting unique to the area boss fights. It would be really cool.

- Bosses being so familiar isn't bad, what is bad is having such a small pool of them for each expedition. If we could merge or enlarge the pools it'd make each run just a tiny bit more interesting. Fighting gaping dragon was cool the first time, but the sixth time is redundant. If I'm wrong, and these boss pools aren't set based on expedition, then damn have I been getting repetitive RNG.

An arcadey option that's fun, but not needed at all.
- Optional Debuffs for partied up, or solo players. When all players are a part of the same party there should be an option to choose interesting (not just boring stat debuffs) debuffs that would give your party more murk for run completions. I.E. always spawn two bosses at the same time instead of one at the end of each night, make all bosses emit an aura like smelter demon or ebrietas that damages your over time, enemies explode on kill (does not harm other enemies), make every single enemy (including bosses) frenzy afflicted causing their attacks to inflict frenzy, and many other fun modifiers that you could think of.

After almost 120 hours, I have now finished the game. I also accidentally got gay sex along the way. Truly, a massive game.

Edit: For clarity, I was excited, and pogging when I saw that the gay sex was an option.

This is a wonderful game, I started playing during the public play tests, and it's been a blast. I did quit for season one but I returned when I heard that the nuke meta was gone. While like all games it has it's problems, it's still wonderful, and worth a try at least. If you haven't played since the launch of the game or since season one I strongly encourage you to try the game again.

This game has been very fun in the small amount of time I've been able to play it. If you get this game,
I suggest very much playing in the dark, with friends, and only using in-game chat.
As someone who rarely feels any real scare in games, this game in early access has made me jump a few times.
I've never been more excited for the full release of a horror game before.

Just 3 hours in, and I've already been entranced by the world in game. I was fairly late to the party, and have already had quite a few spoilers, however I've had no issues getting into the game.

Pretty fun, and good game so far. I just wish my friends would ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it already so I can allow myself to reset, and continue. I mean honestly who the ♥♥♥♥ comes to the office party and is like "Hey there's this new ♥♥♥♥♥♥' souls-like shooter coming out soon we should all buy it" then as soon as you buy it the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ desides to say ♥♥♥♥ you, I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ person to care for irl rather than play video games with you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ DON'T I MATTER AS MUCH, YOU COULDA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DONE ANYTHING TO SHOW YOU CARED BUT THEN YOU GET A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WIFE MICHAEL!?
