All the feelings of the original game moved to 3D, with enough returning and enough new mechanics to be accessible to new or returning players.

Transistor is an amazing game. The story telling surpasses Bastion, though in a different fashion, and the gameply is beyond anything I've seen before. The game is relatively short, so if you'll be playing just for story you might wait on it, but the new game plus and a number of challenges make the content stretch beyond the story. If you have the cash to spare, absolutely pick this up.
