At last, I'm a Shelldiver, too!
Hopping in my trusty Super Submarine, blasting Super Jellyfish, exchanging them for Super Shells, collecting Super Samples from the environment. It's all really fun. No wonder this game has been making waves.

Sorry, I have just been informed that the game I heard so much about is called Helldivers. A reasonable mix-up. Explains the lack of propaganda though.

But seriously, this is a short and sweet incremental game with solid pacing and incredibly cute pixel art. Worth every cent!

As much as I enjoy the art, animation, voice acting and the idea of the game, I cannot recommend it unless you either know Japanese or do not care about the gameplay.

In both German and English, pretty much every ability and effect description is either omitting information, confusingly worded or outright wrong. And since both translations have the same systematic errors, I doubt the other non-Japanese languages fare much better.

If you love the character customization, party synergies and loot collecting of dungeon crawlers, but find the actual dungeon crawling tedious, this game is for you.

Massive disappointment.

As soon as you reach the second farm, the rather decent pace the game had in Sun Haven itself completely falls apart. You are likely to have a bunch of crops on your first farm and you have to plant crops on your second farm to continue the story. Now you have two farms' worth of crops to take care of. Not only are there no sprinklers and the rain spell is buried very deep in your skill tree, but travelling between your farms costs a crop and still takes too much time.

There are also numerous crafting stations, with a lot of recipes each, and you can only craft with items from your very limited personal inventory instead of from items stored on your farm. This is incidentally a crucial accessibility mod that has existed for a long time now, but still hasn't been put into the game proper by the devs, who have decided to churn out paid DLC instead.

Tutorial text at the very beginning of the game isn't implemented, so I have no idea what "input_rebase" is. I also got stung by bees before even making it to my house, which would have killed me on Easy, if I hadn't quit because all of the dialogue suddenly ggoott ssttrreecchheedd oouutt lliikkee tthhiiss.

The version number says 1.3.0, but it feels like a pre-alpha at best.

Microtransactions out the wazoo and nowhere near enough quality to back them up.

At first, I was blown away by the surprisingly good German localization and the cute and well-made character creator. But as soon as I entered the game, the localization quality crashed and burned; there is lag everywhere, even in cutscenes; ridiculous microtransactions to the point where you have to pay just to change your already acquired cosmetics; and that initial feeling of overwhelming joy and nostalgia turned into disappointment and disgust.
All in all, typical Nexon.
