TLDR : Really bad stand alone sci-fi FPS and even worse sequel to an existing franchise with existing lore and characters retconned into something entirely different just so the devs can stamp themselves onto the IP.
The reason this game has even 2/3 of its ownerships is because its bundled with the entire collection for like $10 every few months.

Terrible sequel/first outing for 343. The game is a bad fps in general, ridiculously tanky enemies with criminally low ammo counts in all weapons, the devs must've played it on easy mode to never have ammo issues.
The whole game has a brown smudge filter over it, making already dull enemy designs muddle together into each other and the environment. Speaking of environments, they're also quite bad, tons of grey rooms/tunnels making every mission after the first 4ish all feel the same, and re-using elements between levels doesn't help. (Elevators, Gondolas, etc.)

Really ugly re-designs for existing armors, weapons, characters. And their new "Bigger badder" enemy faction is also a jumbled mess of grey shapes and polygons ala bayformers.

Even if you can ignore the blatant retconning of the original story/lore, The story itself is still a terribly cut mess with one of the longest and worst info dumps near the middle. Villain that simply "wants to blow up earth with a space laser because....." The only element of the story few people defend is the entirely out of character emotional drama with some really bad setups and one of the worst boss fights/finale's I've played through.

Unless you're a completionist who needs to 100% the MCC, or you simply must see the damage done I'd skip this one.

Ok, Here is my honest review.

The game is very basic at its core, but it takes those basic things and makes them into something really fun!
I haven't had it for long, but The amount of levels and guns in the game are amazing for something so small.
I love the leveling and getting a new weapon at random, now, thats not for some people, and I understand that. but it really adds some fun to leveling up.

Pros :
Its FREE!
Easy to learn, harder to master.
Super easy to download.
around 20ish levels.
Over 40 guns
Easy to host a server and have someone join, (Even Lan)
Wall jumping, rolling, Double jumping all come in the package.
Over 10 different gamemodes.
The ability to add bots to your server for those small lan parties.
User friendly Map creator.

Cons :
Locked Resolution
Some wierd bug when joining servers, it won't let you join them.
The Team Deathmatch is locked to only one life. (which is ok, but I would like the option to change that.)

Overall this game is great fun and would recomend it to anyone looking for a few hours of fun!

A lot of people blame games like this for "copying Minecraft" but this game sets itself apart from the blatant rip-offs and is its own unique game.
The amount of content in this game is crazy, Huge boss fights, loads of gear, small questing, an amazing soundtrack,
Fight a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ planet if that's what floats your boat.

And for $9.99, Whats the harm? You get hours of great game play. that's more than I can say for A LOT of games published on Steam now.

I've played over 100 hours on the game, and still don't even have all the stuff.

This game is absolutely amazing! It gets weekly updates, is COMPLETELY FREE! and it can be played offline with friends, if you wanted to.

Nelson is making a game better than the likes of H1Z1 or DayZ, and I can't recommend the game enough.

This is a really good game. The controls are easy to learn and the puzzles are challenging at times.
only problem is its short. (I beat it in 38 minutes, With almost all the bonus content).But other than than that its great.
