Loved this demo so far! Can't wait to see where this game and story go!
Had fun recording for this even with my mishap of recording every single thing said LOL.
The art is so cute, big fan of Junko's design especially, she's adorable.

My friend recently recommended this game to me just over a week ago because it came up on his steam recs n' he was like "I think you'd like this its got lesbians in it". That's all I knew before buying it and playing, had no idea this game would become one of my favorite games ever. I LOVEDDD THIS SO MUCH.

This game felt like a love child between games like Parasite Eve, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Jet Set Radio, and even tho I haven't played a ton of it yet, Silent Hill. HUGE on Parasite Eve vibes from some songs having similar vibes, playing as a fem protag who wields multiple weapons + a special power, the car ride segments, and both taking place in a real life location.
The music was AMAZING, my favorite song being Jenny (the train boss theme). The usage of the train and track noises on the beat was BEYOND genius. I popped off LOL.
The gameplay is super fun and the game does such a good job at teaching you upcoming gimmicks so well.
I 100%'d this game really quick cuz I loved it that much but now I'm sad since I have nothing else </3

Aside from all that, this game really came into my life at such a perfect time as I'm a lesbian who's been dealing with healing from a life changing break up for about a year now (those wlw relationships really are life altering I feel you Michelle). I was able to identify heavily with Michelle due to this, her pain was felt ten fold as if it were my own. This game has amazing writing and handles the themes of all kinds of love amazingly. Each ending was wonderfully done and satisfying in their own ways. I eventually got them all but on my first playthrough I was constantly changing my mind as I did end up becoming fond of The Duchess slowly. So many quotes about love in this game were so touching. The one Chamuel said about how your love isn't meant to FIX someone but to HEAL them really stood out to me, just really good stuff.
I felt seen and heard in my sorrow, but also gained a new outlook on things I began to look on pretty negatively. I think this game will totally stick with me for a long while, will be a game I speak fondly of, and a game I try to get others to play.
The representation of queer relationships of all kinds and a handful of nonbinary and/or gender nonconforming characters was awesome.
If these devs ever release another game be it in the same universe as SWC/a sequel/etc. ANYTHING?? I AM THERE DAY 1!!

This game highkey controls like if you smeared your car tires in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and butter. Like drifiting feels damn near impossible at all times.
The servers just kick you out because they're bored.
The eurobeat station kinda sucks.
Someone drove past me at high speed yelling slurs I was so caught off guard lmao.
Also the Sil80 named Mako, clearly based off Mako and Sayuki's Sil80, has the wrong rims.
I have fun with dookie games so I played for a bit especially because I'm fixated on Initial-D rn and am in love with Impact Blue, but MAN this being my first racing game of sorts outside of Mario and Sonic racers wasnt the right choice lol.

This game scared me so bad that it took me an hour to finish when its like 30 minutes. I'm a scaredy cat asf, so if you have low scare tolerance you'll probably like this. I closed my eyes every time the snipper dude was about to get me so have no idea how the jumpscare even looks LOL. It was fun when I knew what I was doin but I used a guide to get it over with faster :p

I'm ngl I found this game on total accident bc I was looking up "red steam badges" to decorate my profile with later, and it has a really cool red demon lookin one lol. Plus its just 3 bucks so I bought it and it was better than I thought tbh.
Music is great! The artstyle is appealing, it reminds me a lot of Plants VS. Zombies. And the gameplay loop is addictive enough even if its not as in depth as other games in this genre.
Though I cant say I'd recc it to anyone who's dying to play a game like this due to how annoying some later levels can become on a single player run. It's not impossible but some enemies will kill you just because they feel like it and not because of any error of your own.
For example the L4D like boomer zombie things will explode but wont show you the AOE to avoid until the LAST frame they explode and they take a GOOD chunk of your health.
Also leveling up lowkey feels pointless? Did not feel much of a difference at all between level 1 and level 60+ at all. This game is probably more so meant for multiplayer so I'm just speaking from single player experience lol.
But yeah! It's an okay game not bad at all but also not amazing. Its a good time killer if anything.

Fun game! Its especially good for if you want a break from CrossWorlds, vey fun with friends. Pricing on some skins can be crazy, but games like Overwatch and other similar stuff price the same so its whatever to me.
You can also get red rings very easily just by playing so its not a big negative for me + its not like the skins give you buffs while playing rounds so its whatever, even if I wish things were on the cheaper side. Dont let the prices stop you from enjoying a good time lol

Tobias Foxworth does it again

In early June I went on a trip to Georgia to visit a long time friend + her husband. On their PS5 they had Bomb Rush, so I said why dont I play it? Its been on my NEED TO PLAY!!! list for ages. So I did just that and my god was it an amazing game, as someone who already loves things like Jet Set Radio n' other grind fiction of the sort I was hooked pretty quick, though at first I was a little unsure due to not getting the mechanics down at first... but when I did, man. This has to be one of THE most fun games to play for its flow alone. And lets not forget the music, just about any song that was on streaming and in this game is on my playlist now.
Anyway, I finished it in Georgia and when I came back from my trip I bought it physically for my PS5, beat it again within 2 days and then 100%'d it. Then once the steam sale hit, I bought it... AGAIN, completed it within a few days... AGAIN... annnnd 100%'d it AGAIN! Safe to say this is one of my FAVORITE games of all time already. And i think EVERYBODY needs to experience it at least once. The modding scene is also insanley good too, on par with the Sonic communities mods. And it only keeps evolving.
One of the greatest games ever fr, I CRAVE MOREEE!!! This game is a melting pot of everything I love in one to its aesthetic, the game play, the characters, setting, music, etc. Just perfect.

P.S. I've been listening to 2 mello well before this game and popped off hearing I Wanna Kno in this game, I had no idea he was on this OST.
