You... big... stupid... JELLYFISH. Why haven't you bought this game?

FromSoft games have always been notoriously difficult and the DLCs have always been notoriously much more difficult at a base level than the base game. Going immediately from having a relatively easy time in the endgame with just the power from levels is gone in the DLC and you must adjust to the idea that all enemies are once again, very dangerous, in the DLC area. The feeling of progress and empowerment as you explore the land and uncover new weapon types and spells/incantations captures the wonder found in the base game, once again even as you are many, many hours into a playthrough of the base game as well. Yes, the final boss is a bit umm... hard to actually see what is going on sometimes, with some very punishing combos. However, I think that overcoming overwhelming odds and the satisfaction that comes from doing so is at the heart of the charm that comes from actually playing a FromSoft game.

Easily one of the best and most replayable games that I have ever played. There are many ways to play so that we as players can try whatever we enjoy doing. Of course, some areas of the game are extremely difficult with unforgiving mechanics, but the adaptability players must have is what I love about the game. Having trouble with a boss? Go and explore and find new tools and abilities to try, and maybe when you come back later, you'll be able to beat that boss. The satisfaction of finally beating that one boss that has given you trouble is something that I deeply enjoy and I think that anyone who enjoys a good challenge has every reason to play this game.

Ya know... I liked this. The story was nice and it felt a bit like a good ol' movie. The gameplay was fantastic. This was a very heartwarming game to play. It's a great game to take a couple hours of your time.

They essentially broke all the mods for this game with the latest update. They knew this would happen. Probably want everyone to switch over to ASA.
