Great graphics, good inventory menu, OK combat building and crafting, BAD healing/food/water/sleep mechanics. Healing needs to be much much easier and more often. Playing the game at 1/4 health ALL THE TIME, is not fun, or engaging, it's annoying and that's it. Food needs to be easier to accumulate (raw meat), deer run away successfully too often and are too tough versus spears, food goes from cooked to stale too fast. Water is a boring mechanic with the usual, drink non-filtered get kind of sick routine found in every other survival game. Relying on energy drinks breaks immersion. Sleep needs less "enemies nearby" events, it's a necessary mechanic that gets interrupted too often, and it kills nighttime immersion completely because when you're tired you have no stamina so you ALWAYS try to sleep at night instead of becoming immersed. Walking up to a cannibal and shooting them point black in the back of the head with a 3d printed arrow and watching them get up afterwards turn around and 1 shot me makes me want to stop playing because surviving an arrow to the back of the skull at point blank with no armor is unrealistic. Can't clear camps nearly as often as i'd like because no ammo for pistol and arrows/spears are very unreliable and inaccurate.

Official servers are completely taken over by cheaters everywhere. game is unplayable as you will be found by cheaters using hacks that show all players locations. Great gameplay, horrible online experience, completely ruined game. IF you play this game online, you must play unofficial custom servers where admins are active and cheaters aren't.

Developers must do more to ban cheaters.

Great game where you can spend hundreds of hours having a lot of fun in a lot of different ways. mmo wargame buildgame

I love these building style games, where it's an open world and you get to build with freedom. I came across this game on accident in the store, looked at the reviews(mostly positive) and put it in my cart. I read some negative reviews that convinced me this game wasnt worth buying at this point in time. I kept thinking about the game, the 3D possibilities and how cool it looked and went back and said "screw it" i'm buying it.

The excitement this game is delivering so far is almost as intense as the first play through of Subnautica but in a different way. It has exceeded my expectations already, i have only just begun.

I am pleasantly satisfied with this game so far. I've put about 10 hours into it, owned it for 2 days. I really like the potential and hope they keep updating and adding new stuff. I love to build!! Worth it at this sale price. Look forward to hours and hours of fun.

I bought this game yesterday and promptly spent the next 9 hours playing survival! So much fun and intense. This is an engineering game, build stuff, survive, thrive.
