This is a review and a recommendation on what I'd like the see.

I'm a big fan of squad. I understand they're completely different timelines but this game is just a slower paced battlefield. Its chaotic and fun in a small map, if you're into tactical and smart team plays like myself I wouldn't recommend the game for $35+ especially just for an Alpha stage game. I only played one map so I don't got a big effect, but I see this game becoming like Post Scriptum in a year or less, people not using comms, hard to find actual team that stays together.

Pro: If you like battlefield game and prefer a chaotic and non team situated game, this game is perfect!

What could have changed this review to good?
Lower the price. $35+
A wide range of tactical situations, you stand still and you will die and the whole map is covered for flanks.

What would I like to see?
If there's no change to the tactical side of my expectations, a big base defense would be great to see. A fortress to defend. During the start up phase defenders should fortify and set up tactical positions that could half advancements while the attackers wait the phase.
Defenders will have the whole map except the last line which are for the Germans, the defenders can't go to the last line instead to win they have to beat the time limit.
Defenders could set up sandbags or fortified hallways in the trenches and machine gunners set up on hills. Artillery placed on tactical points with their own defenses, section leader spawns disabled.

When the game starts Defenders spawn will be placed all the way at the back of the map to their first line, but attackers will have their spawns advancing by how much they advance. The balance in all this is Defenders have set up point with machine guns and artillery and their own defense lines. Enough time too hold an attack for at least a 5 - 20 minutes depending on how tactical they place their defenses. This will also improve communications with the squads and commanders as commander role is to keep the line intact and to stop the enemies from overwhelming them.

When the game starts attackers are forced to use team communications with the commander to set up gasses and charges. This will improve the squad - command squad communications which will impact the section leader to players communication. They can choose to attack one by one which will be an advantage for the defenders or they could choose to charge in waves or intervals. Which will overwhelm the attackers. They could set up artillery but with a chance of being countered by infantry shooting at the attackers side.


Every line the attackers overwhelm their spawn changes and the defenders now have to use their defenses on the other line of defenses (if they chose to, if not they're going to get overwhelmed quicker)
