Mayu Amakura 最近的评测

As someone who played this back on the Wii with the english translation patch back in 2010, the game still holds up. And it's still freaking scary. This remaster has everything I ever wanted from it and so much more to make the scares. The amount of pre-orders I put towards it is so worth it.

The isolation horror is a perfect 10

The Atmosphere horror is the scariest so far.

And the ghosts are by far the scariest in the series, not even the ghosts in 1, 2, 3 or 5 can compare to the ghosts in Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

controls do get some getting used to but overall it's still good

But still finally glad to officially be able to play the best Fatal Frame game in the series, without needing a Wii or emulation. Still gonna keep my Wii version though.

Oh yeah so far I've had no issues at all on my PC, it runs perfectly fine.

Also Ruka is best girl, always love her.

Just beat this game yesterday on PS5 and my trophy/achievement list sits at 39 of 42. The last three I need are Flame of Frenzy ending, Elden Lord ending and the platinum for getting all trophies.


So here's my thoughts on it. 125 hours in and honestly this is one of the best games I've played in years, so many years. The gameplay is addicting, very fun, and very fair. There's so much to work with and so many builds to choose from. Once I start going after stuff. I can't stop playing. Boss fights are fun and simple once you figure them out.

The games difficulty is not that hard at all. It's actually very simple and easy once you figure things out and learn from it. Yet still very punishing. For me it feels more like Kingdom Hearts on Critical mode. Learn and and get good people.

Gameplay, open world, exploring, bosses, OST. All of it is a 10 out of 10.

Update: Nearly 450 hours total combined from Xbox, PS4 and PS5, Resulting in a full 100% achievements and two platinum trophies. And I still pour endless hours and days into this game

You know after cramming over 90 hours into Elden Ring on the PS5 and so far loving every bit of it. Clearly its the best game of this year 2022

I really wanna come back and play the dark souls games seriously. Really looking forward to it.

Also Elden Ring is not that hard once you get used to it and figure it out. To me it feels more like Kingdom Hearts on critical mode.

Easily one of the most scariest FPS games ever. Well to me they are and I love every single bit of it.

I honestly never expected Fatal Frame to return and on PC along with current and Next Gen consoles as well too. And with so much more going for it and that 20th anniversary DLC. I just had to get it since well I am a huge fan and I would love to support this as well as remasters of the older games.

Gameplay is fun, yet scary. The new photo mode is a great addition to it and then there's achievements as well too. Also Yuri is very cute and adorable, I really want to hug her.

The 20th anniversary DLC adds in so much. Classic costumes from past games, official soundtracks from all the games and the artbook adds way more than what I expected from it, including art that you can very very rarely find back then and now.


The biggest issue I have with this set is that all of Fatal Frame 4: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is completely missing. There is not a single reference to any of it at all in the 20th anniversary DLC set. Feels as if it's been erased and it doesn't exist anymore.


Overall I'm quite pleased and happy with the entire game and its DLC. As of right now I'm currently playing the game on my Xbox Series X. So I'll have to come back to the PC version at a later time and from what I've played on my PC version, it runs very well with no issues. I'm already on chapter 3.


UPDATE: The best game in the series, Fatal Frame 4: Mask of the Lunar eclipse is out now for Xbox, PC and Playstation. I recommend getting that one first, then get Maiden of Black water later.

This game is fun, full of lying, backstabbing, betraying and killing those you love, what more is there to say

This game is so amazing. I'm loving it so far, and wow Nemesis so much more intense and heartpounding then Mr X
