My wife and I decided to get this, after having played both It Takes Two and Split Fiction, and this game seemed to be the next best option after those two. She didn’t seem to like this one as much as the two other games though. I guess it was due to the lack of actual puzzles and where this is based purely on just movement. This however is why I liked this game a lot, I normally don’t like too many puzzles but I find movement fun.

Either way we went through this game together and still had a good time. It is a cute platformer in semi realistic visual style. Like I said, it is more so focused on movement than it is solving puzzles, there is a lot of jumping, grabbing and swinging involved in order to get through the game.

We played it on my wife’s Steam Deck and while it ran without any problems, it did take a while to start up after hitting play and looked like it crashed, but after a while it did launch normally. Just good to know in case you are planning to get it for your Deck.

These co-op adventure platformers have turned out to be really good games to bond over. We have played 3 or 4 of them now and had a really good time with them.

When I bought this game a few days ago, I suddenly remembered seeing this game at E3 in 2018 and how good I thought it looked visually. I remembered it as a near photorealistic platformer, but now it is already starting to look a bit dated. It is crazy how fast games improve graphically, 2018 isn’t even that long ago.

@eekz, I’m happy I was helpful. I will say though, of all the co-op teamwork games we have played together my wife and I, It Takes Two was the best one. It had an even amount of both movement and puzzles and the story was by far the best. So if you guys haven’t played that yet, we highly recommend that. But Split Fiction and Unravel Two are also good :)

This is a fantastic review! I struggle with platformers if any degree of precision is required, but love puzzles; my partner is the opposite. We were trying to decide between Unravel Two or Split Fiction, but you just settled the case. Thank you!
