A rhythm game that tortures you. You'll hate every second then recommend it to your friends after you beat it. I hate that damned monkey.

All the negative reviews are either nerds that care too much about 1.3 millisecond microstutters that are more in their head than in the game, or losers that need to git gud and quit whining about bosses that kill them when the mystical Scadutree Fragments exist to fix all their problems.

This DLC will also make you into a Sekiro fan if you weren't already. Deflecting Hardtear my beloved.

Ending boss was kinda mid lore-wise, tho.

===PROS===
+Beautiful animation
+ Beautiful scenery - Practically each frame could be a high-res desktop background
+ Intuitive gameplay - The controls can feel a bit "weird" at first with Capslock being one of the key movement inputs, but it doesn't take more than a couple minutes to get used to. You can always rebind, though
+ Great co-op - Not just "you have another person there to talk with while you both effectively play single-player" - Your partner is vital in completing the game
+ Voice acting is surprisingly good, but my standards aren't as high as everyone else's so YMMV here
+ Great for couples and/or family - This is definitely a game you'll be seeing played by parents and children for years to come
+ Friends pass, which requires only one of you to purchase the game for both of you to play

===CONS===
- Steam just launches Origin, requiring you to make/use an existing EA account
- Aforementioned Origin has a slew of UI shenanigans to get through, primarily when adding/inviting your friend
- No manual save function (sort of) - My friend and I kept getting stuck when one of us would disconnect halfway through, forcing us to replay up to that point with our fingers crossed. There is a workaround, however. Manually quitting via returning to the main menu right before the disconnect will allow us to rejoin and pick up without issue

I imagine that this'll see the ubiquitous-ness that Little Big Planet did on the PS3. Highly recommended.

It is much too easy to get banned from the online aspect of this game, and the customer support is even worse than Valve/Steam's, if you can believe that.

I recommend playing within INVITE-ONLY sessions with friends whom you know have completely sterile installations, and absolutely NO third-party programs running simultaneously, for everyone involved.

Otherwise, it could jeopardize the $60 you spent on this game. It's worthwhile, but it's hard to enjoy it to its fullest (in fully populated servers. Y'know, like how you're supposed to in a multiplayer game).

The singleplayer is phenomanal as always, however.

Wait till it goes on sale, then, and only then, should you (cautiously) enter multiplayer once you've finished the singleplayer.

TL;DR: Wait till it goes on sale. The frustrations this game has outweighs its aesthetics and gameplay value.

There are more ways to arrange a deck of cards than there are particles in the observable universe, but Solitaire nonetheless feels a bit "samey" after the first few trillion games.
The same goes for the challenges. They're each unique, but they're all just "go through the orange circle".

While it's quite a beautiful game, it isn't long before you'll get frustrated with most of the medium + hard challenges, requiring dozens if not hundreds of attempts before being able to complete some of the more agregious ones.

The controls don't feel at all intuitive.
Jumping with snowboards feels more like luck rather than skill, wing suits are frustrating in turns greater than 10 degrees, paragliders have an annoying "wind" mechanic where you'll end up rocketing skyward (usually when you least want it to happen).

The G-force mechanic which serves as health in this game is a nuisance more than anything else.

The mountain view. Oh god the mountain view. The camera will not stay at one particular zoom level. At all.
If you want to check your place in the world briefly, or plant a flag to work your way towards through the monstrously proportioned game world, you have to sit through two overly long zoom-in and zoom-out animations.

It'd certainly be worth your hard-earned money were it priced at a more reasonable $30-40, but $60 for a game you'll more than likely play for 3 or so hours before putting it down and leaving it to rot in your library is just too much. Buy food instead. You deserve it, you beautiful person.
