Cool little game! The progression feels amazing, well balanced and I enjoyed every seconds of it. Just don't expect a 300h experience out of it.

The Tariff system is a stupid attempt to discourage a handful of players from cheating while punishing 100% of the community. This system basically prevents you from selling more than a tiny fraction of your output which in my experience, completely stalls your progress and ruin the fun in the game.

One more important thing: IT'S NOT AN IDLE GAME. Your production, research etc. completely stops while offline which for me, kills the game.

Can't even start the fkn game lol

There was so many redflags... This is really unfortunate because the core concept is really interesting. The slow pace exploration, the programming part, the complex building, living economy and wars and space battle I mean WTH, on paper this is the perfect game. But due to redflags, I HAD to start the 2h timer while playing the game. I wasted one whole hour of my life stuck in the tutorial, chasing microscopic pieces of shipwreck, trying to restart it because nothing was happening and then realised you actually have to destroy every single bolts and screws of the ship to progress and after one hour of brainless work, they just give you 3 other ships to cut into pieces, like it's nothing. I'm sorry but this was insulting and borderline humiliating. I can't trust any dev that truly think that's a good way to learn anything. So I refund it, I might rebuy it at a discount in a year or so if the game is still alive but for now, I have better things to do with my time than to chase screws and bolts.

fck this fcking game.

I'm not going to not recommend it because I have to say, this game is a masterpiece and the devs are incredibly responsive and devoted. BUT this game should be renamed EGO because this is what it's all about. People will systematically deserts servers the second it doesn't go their way. The community is filled with "expert" in sociology and economy and if you don't listen to them, they simply bail. I played on 4 servers, 2 of them were dedicated servers of my own, all of them ultimately died out after couple of days, leaving the servers with not enough active players to go on. This is sad and frustrating because all the mechanics are in place for politics, laws, voting and everything could be fixed using those tools the game provides. But no, people just leaves because the currency is backed on copper instead of gold or whatnot.

TL;DR: the game is good but people f*****g sucks.

Kingdoms is the game I was waiting for for a very long time, very immersive and there's so much to do. The dev is an absolute beast. I went through a keybinding bug that prevented me to play the game properly (I'm lefthanded) so I talked to him and the issue was taken care of overnight. I can only recommend this game. If like me you loved Kenshi, mount & blade, the guild 2, Kingdoms is the game for you. Just buy it already.

Kenshi is a curse, every game you will play afterwards will stand in its shadow. Every game you will play after Kenshi will be boring, repetitive, easy and depth lacking. Buy it and play it but be aware that this game will change your expectation forever.

The map is bigger, there's more towns and cities and graphs are better but, there's less content than the first one, less dialogues, less interactions, less possibilities, TONES of unnecessary loading screens and on top of that performance fcking sucks. I'm aware this is alpha but ffs 8 years of development, 60 bucks I was expecting more than a broken and incomplete remake of the first one. Gotta wait another 8 years for a real upgrade, in the meantime I'll stick with warband.
