Pros:

+LEGENDARY GAME, every gamer should at least try it
+Regularly goes on sale for less than a dollar
+Fun platforming
+Involved and difficult, yet, not frustrating puzzles and sequences
+Still runs and looks fairly good considering it's age at this point
+Cake might be a lie

Cons:

-Fewest step challenges was designed by a valve employee on meth
-Camera shy has to be done in one run where Transmission Received does not
-I just cant articulate how much I hated the fewest step challenges

Conclusion:

I hadn't ever played portal before this christmas. All in knew about it was the speedrun was incomprehensible. I've always like the song that plays at the end "Still alive" but after finally playing it, I feel like i'm allowed to like it now. Valve makes / (made D:) some incredible games that truly were the face of the early PC gaming industry. IDK why I waited so long to try portal but i'm glad I finally got around to it. The platforming and the pace were entertaining the whole way through.

Pros:

+Cheap game with lots of content
+Unique resource and colony management type gameplay
+Quality fan wiki with all the answers you may need
+The amount of min maxing strats to master allow for decent replayabilty

Cons:

- OCD brain doesn't like when animals/enemies/crops move cards around
-Restarting with scraps after going all in feels terrible and took me forever to recover
-Even though all the information about equipment is available on the wiki they are not viewable in game
-Without the wiki i'm not sure if I would have been able to beat this game
-Menuing could be optimized for better user experience

Conclusion:

Bought this game for sale during the summer sale event, I believe, I was able to get all of the achievements but they added a bunch so I had to revisit. Second time through it was easier to start up but I definitely still had single moon phases that took 15 minutes just being paused and moving things around. All in all its got plenty of content for the price and is fairly entertaining.

+Fun atmosphere
+Smoke cigs and spit on big business's food
+Mature themes

Cons:

-VHS filter and screen warp give me a head ache (you can turn these off)
-Unexplained use for the kings eyes (they point to remaining tag spots (would have loved to have known this the first time through))
-Slug hiding spots basically require at least one youtube video.

Conclusion:

I got this game for free on epic a while back and speed-ran it for a bit. The first time I played through I was surprised how much I liked the art style. After it went on sale this christmas I had to buy it to support the devs because its alot of fun and they deserve the praise. All of the combo tags look awesome on their own but fitting into the world of sludge life along with the characters you meet make this a fun game to come back and appreciate all over again.

+Fun and engaging platforming (major selling point for me)
+Cool world building and atmosphere
+Great sound track
+Unique 2d and 3d art style
+Decently easy achievements

Cons:

-No way to skip cut-scenes
-Not much replayability (other than maybe speed running but also the cut-scenes are brutal)

Conclusion:

I got this game on sale for 10$ and I think it was well worth it. The enjoyable world building mixed with stellar platforming had me locked in. Definitely one of my favorite games of this year.

Fun casual game that can also fill as a competitive game with a high skill cap.
As I read in another review:
Hit ball, they hit ball back, hit ball, they hit ball back, hit ball= Happy chemical.

Super awesome game. I had lots of fun in my first play through a year or so ago and I had some more fun grinding out the achievements recently. If you like rogue likes this might be up your alley.

I really think with a bit more work this could be a much better game. Its slightly buggy at times, and a bit grind-y (if you want to play f2p). I think the dungeons are really fun but the price to enter is too much to play it regularly.
