This game played an incredibly important role in my childhood and is frankly the only reason I even got into JRPGs in the first place.

It has a gorgeous artsyle, fantastic soundtrack, one of the most unique battle systems I have ever seen in a JRPG, and some of the best writing I've seen from any game in general.

Everything seems tailor made for a nigh-flawless experience. From the beautiful, hand-drawn animated cutscenes to the fantastic score made by Joe Hisaishi himself, it's almost perfect.

Key word: *almost*

This game has some of the worst AI I have ever seen in any game ever. The party members will constantly and consistently make mind-numbingly stupid decisions, get themselves killed repeatedly, and overall be a detriment. And it isn't until you get access to the all-out commands that they are even remotely useful. Until then, you can expect them to be not only useless, but often-times a liability.

Aside from this, there are little things that can be a bit annoying at times.

Oliver moves incredibly slow most of the time and even after upgrading it doesn't get much better.

Some of the sidequests are downright cruel with the requirements and have taken me hours to complete.

The familiar capturing system is one of the worst monster catching mechanics I had ever seen in any game ever.

And a lot of completion boils down to constantly throwing yourself at the same monsters over and over again until you finally get the drop you need to craft something thats weaker than what you can buy with guilders. (Nevermind the 200+ familiars that require you to deal with the abysmal monster catching mechanics I just mentioned.)

it's an incredible game all-in-all and I'd say it's one of the greatest creative pieces I had ever seen. Flaws aside, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a masterpiece and absolutely worth your time.

This was one of the coolest games I had played in a while. It's such a shame that it's not more well known because this game is a work of art.

It's far from perfect, and there are a lot of things I think they could have done better. The combat is a bit lacking and the writing is a bit weak, but the platforming is some of the best I had seen in a long time.

I loved all the silly characters and their interactions with Bō. I love how there's always something new to find.

I rate it 8/10

If you like metroidvanias, you will love Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus.

I cant 'not', like this game, i've been searching for merchant type games, and Deepsace Emporium is one of the best ive ever seen. Overall this game is actually amazing. If you like merchant type games, this is an amazing one.

Now that i've had much more time to play this game, I have to say that RIvals of Aether 2 absolutely did the series justice.

Literally every character is viable. You could be playing the worst character in the game (Last I checked it's still etalus) and still absolutely kick ass at high-levels.

Every character feels amazing to play.

And the game manages to consistently shock me with how in depth some of the characters can really be.

The game isn't even close to complete yet and it's already a better fighting game than 90% of the genre. It has possibly the best movement system I've ever seen. It took the foundation set by Melee and ran laps with it.

I'm impressed.

RoA1 set such an impossibly high standard that I thought there'd be no way a sequel could ever meet it.

But RoA2 did so exceptionally well. (I'm not about to say that it did so with flying colours. It's stages are actually garbage compared to the first one and incredibly boring and uninteresting to play on. Pretty graphics can only do so much when nearly every stage feels the same.)

It managed to meet the near insurmountable standards that the first game set.

And with enough time, I think it'll surpass it.

I wish i could recommend it but like, the map design (rn atleast) is trash. Really easy to camp for scp's or for human's.
