It's a great game, and it's gorgeous. Must buy for any 40k fan, and definitely worth it for newcomers.

Starship Troopers, Warhammer 40k (Imperial Guard), and Star Wars combined, with a bunch of other little nods too. This game is fantastic.

This game feels like Dark Souls, Skyrim, and Myst had a baby. A glorious, merciless, unrelentingly fun baby.

The game is fun. I like the game.

This is one of the funnest games I've ever played. Love it.

This game is incredibly addicting.

Gotta say this before I continue: THIS IS NOT OVERWATCH. Please stop saying that, and play the game for yourself before you compare it simply based off of watching a stream or some gameplay.

Alright. Now that that's out of the way I can talk about how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome this game is. Did you like Quake? Did you enjoy Unreal Tournament? Did you never play either of those games? Doesn't matter. This game is incredibly fun regardless of what you can compare it to, and it is unique in it's own way. Fast paced, and I mean FAST paced gameplay makes for some of the most intense firefights I've ever been in (and I was a machine gunner in the Marines, trust me, it's intense). Couple that with the smooth as hell mobility, and how your specific characters abilities interact and influence it, and you have a game where there are endless ways in which you can fight and win. Personally I enjoy playing as Vanguard; she can literally zip around the map like a fighter jet with a minigun attached to her arm. Simply awesome. The game modes are another awesome part of the game with very different objectives for each one. My personal favorite is Blitzball, which can be a really quick game of domination over the other team, or, for example, like my first match after release, a long tug-of-war match where the offense was amazing, and the defense was better, leading to a 20 minute battle of attrition where the winner was determined by the time running out (neither team made it to the required 8 scores to win). It was a blast. Let's not forget that there's blood, cursing, and hilarious results from dying in zero gravity where your body just flings off into the air in weird ass positions. Also, the loot system is pretty satisfying. It's the good ol' stash drops, loot crate, whatever you wanna call it kind of system, but the contents of the stash drops is just so much more fulfilling than other games with similar rewards. Whether it's a new weapon skin, armor for your character, a new logo for when you kick someone to death (it's various footprint images), stickers for your guns, or just coins so you can purchase skins yourself, there are plenty of things to look forward to earning through your levels.

So pros and cons time:

Pros:
- Very fast paced, intense gameplay.
- Different classes that cater to a lot of game play styles.
- Zero gravity combat is fun as hell, especially how it interacts with character abilities (you can propel yourself forward with the Titan's rocket launcher, for example).
- Hit boxes are way better than in other similar styled games.
- Various game modes that all feel different and can provide a good 20 minutes of intense back and forth.
- Fun maps
- Perfect game for M/KB
- Aesthetics are on point, not cartoon-y at all.
- Blood, curse words, and glorious deaths.
- Blitzball is fun as all hell, and the announcer is voiced by the same guy who voices Morty.
- Fun loot, and some bad ass exotic armor for the characters.
- The music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.
- It's 30 bucks. This game is priced so appropriately. Yes, it was supposed to be F2P at first, but I'm happy they didn't do that because it usually invites P2W stuff. There's none of that here. Yes, you can buy stash drops, but the contents of those drops are aesthetic and in no way help or harm your skills.

There's a lot more I could put in pros, but for the sake of not being too long of a post I'll end it there.

Cons:
- The fast paced nature of the game can throw some people off. Takes getting used to, but is very satisfying once you figure it out.
- Bad publicity. This game needed to be marketed better, not only to distance itself from Overwatch, but also to show people that they're getting a lot for 30 bucks. Already seeing articles claiming it's DOA, which just isn't true.
- Definitely needs more maps.
- Not really a con, but I'm wondering what the roadmap looks like for this game. I hope there's more skins added, more maps, and even more characters eventually. It's fine for now, but the game will have to be added on to so that it can have longevity.
- The game will fail simply due to people not trying it before judging it. It's 30 bucks, pay for it, play for a couple hours and then refund it if you don't like it, but I bet you will enjoy it anyways.

Honestly cons are hard to think about. I haven't found much I dislike about the game. I could possibly say that stash drops should happen more often, but then again, getting them for every level up is probably fine.

Either way, I think you should try this game out. It's very fun, it's not an Overwatch rip off, it's fast paced and intense as all hell, and it's only 30 bucks. Give it a go, you won't regret it.

Obligatory Judas Priest reference: Breakin the laaw Breakin the laaaww

This is a demo/alpha-stage game at best. 3 armies, 8 maps, 1 multiplayer game mode, a linear and boring story in the campaign, horrible voice acting, grimbright graphics that look nothing like a 40k inspired setting, base building is useless, game is centered around a MOBA-esque objective, one-dimensional gameplay, and lame excuses for balance. To say this is an RTS is a joke. On the surface level it appears to be one, but then you play and realize that all the RTS elements of the game are just for show, and they don't mean jack squat. Base building is completely pointless, army size doesn't really matter when the everything but the elites are useless cannon fodder, and the way the ONE GAME MODE works doesn't really allow for a big build up. If you lose the first skirmish you're pretty much donezo 9 times out of 10.

Just don't buy this game. Maybe wait for it to go on sale because 60 dollars is a complete and utter rip off for the content that they gave at launch. Honestly, just go get DoW1 and download a mod and you'll havea way more fun than if you buy this. I honestly do not know what they were thinking when they made this hot garbage.

Paid for it. Went free. Now I gotta pay for ♥♥♥♥ I already paid for. This is straight up theft, and fraud. ♥♥♥♥ these guys.
