This game is great, plain and simple. The story is great and I recommend completing all of the endings. You can compare this to the Dark Souls games but if you buy this expecting Dark Souls combat you will be killed hundreds of times. The game stresses learning deflecting, if you master it then you will be fine. If you expect/want to step-dodge everything then I pray for your sanity. 10/10 highly recommended, even if you aren't into these kinds of games.

I'm updating this review because, after a few years, I decided to replay all of the Arkham games. Arkham Knight still stands as my favorite of the trilogy. Some might chalk it up to nostalgia from playing it on release back in 2015, or perhaps to my lifelong admiration of Batman. Either way, this game is a testament to what a team of developers that are passionate about their game can achieve. It's a masterpiece that continues to shine nearly a decade later.
