I've seen another review comparing it to subnautica and I completely agree. The gameplay is to explore and unlock new tech to upgrade and make you stronger. This game is rough (as with any other early access) in its current state, but a hell of a lot better than about eighty percent of every other game I've seen in early access.

I spent the first 70 minutes trying to fix a very silly sensitivity bug that would give a black screen but after that I got a clean working game as far as I can see with 5 hours in. It was a bit slow at the start but it picked up once I started to see hidden quests at stations. The only negitive I can give now is when on foot in stations the fps can get low and it gets a bit worse as time goes on and you land at another station.

The only way to get fps to stay around 60 at least on foot was to lower resolution to 1600x900
when in ship flying around I get 80 - 100.
