The game is plagued by an unbalanced economy with a focus on pay-to-win mechanics. Progression feels painstakingly slow for non-paying players, as the game pushes you towards purchasing premium content to have a fighting chance. The blatant advantage given to those who open their wallets undermines any sense of fair competition, leaving those unwilling or unable to spend feeling frustrated and left behind. It's a shame that Gaijin prioritizes record profits over providing an enjoyable and balanced experience.

Little improvement in the past year and since upgrading to an AMD GPU the performance is awful.

Arma is like a base engine that you can build on top of. I'm not a huge fan of the vanilla content, but the fantastic scripting framework and mission editor in addition to the sprawling modding community makes it a joy to play.
