Fantastic game!
Very easy to grasp, pratically no tutorial and you can get right into it yet still always sth. new to discover while you play: New ship classes, new abilities and upgrades.
Galactic layer is simple, with limited move actions you need to plan ahead on where you want to go next. Not rocket sience but keeps you engaged. Core of the game is the combat which is a lot of fun, especially if you are trying out new ships and abilities.
DLCs aren't needed but help the game keep fresh once you have played through it. Royal Navy = Best navy! :D

Not as big as the other X-games and more story-driven but once you get that it's a fantastic game.
Visually stunning with great mechanics though I must admit that late-game doesn't have the depth I was hoping for.

Bereits bei Version 2.5 angekommen, wurden mittlerweile viele der ursprünglichen Probleme behoben.
Das Spiel ist zwar noch nicht perfekt, und auch die Einsteigerfreundlichkeit ist nahe Null, aber sobald man sich mal durch den zähen Einstieg gekämpft hat, steht einem ein riesiges Universum mit unzähligen Möglichkeiten offen.
Kaum ein Spiel konnte mich je so mitreißen wie die Teile der X-Serie, und X4 bildet auch hier keine Ausnahme!
Ich freue mich schon sehr auf die nächsten großen Content-Patches und den Split-DLC! :)

Edit: Version 3.0 (gerade in der Beta) behebt fast alle größeren Schwächen, freu mich schon sehr auf die neuen Story-Missionen:)

One of my favourite strategy games. Easy to play, a lot of diversity (space, ground, and galactic layer). In addaition to that a good campaign, great multiplayer (now working again) and thousands of mods to choose from!
Especially Stargate Pegasus Chronicles is a lot of fun to play and a must-have for every Stargate fan!
