Really versatile software, very easy to use and extremely practical for many digital artists (even outside of VR chat and Vtubers!)

You essentially create very professionally made anime models by using presets or making custom assets (such as hair, clothes, face textures, etc.) right inside VRoid studio, and can even export the textures and edit them in any image editing/drawing program you wish, and import them right back in. You make custom clothes by layering meshes and editing the textures, and it's extremely simple.

While the body sliders may be a bit limited, there's type of clothing called "Bodysuit" that has even more sliders, you can get really creative with this and use it to make furry, chibi or even plus sized characters. You could even edit the mesh in other modelling program after exporting the model (you just can't put it back into vroid studio after doing this, unfortunately).

You can only export your models as VRM files (at the time of me writing this) but that's okay because you could easily convert them to another file type if you know what you're doing. You could just do everything from within the studio though, even has the ability to pose and render your models right there.

The possibilities of what you do with these models beyond vroid studio is basically endless. Just look around on YouTube and see what's possible using Unity and Blender to further edit them. You can use them for absolutely anything, even just animation or for game dev. I believe there's even a way to turn them into MMD models.

I originally started to use this program as a doll maker for designing OCs but just got completely obsessed with making models... really awesome! Really super easy to learn, you don't even need to really have any art or modelling skills, but if you have them you can make some crazy cool ♥♥♥♥

I really love this game, I typically don't leave reviews but I need to express what is so amazing and appealing about this game. To put in perspective, growing up I played a lot of P.F. Magic (makers of classic Petz before Ubisoft) and early Maxis (Sims 1-2, and Spore) games. So, if those games ring familiar Wobbledogs will probably make you feel nostalgic. Some of the UI and graphics are a bit Petz and Sims inspired, such as the cursor, and the whistle sound definitely sounds similar to that old Petz "come here" whistle. That is so nostalgic to me.

Aesthetics aside, the gameplay is fun and goofy. It truly captures the sandbox nature of those old PC games I mentioned. Many sandbox franchises have been bought out by companies that never understood or grasped what made the games so fulfilling. After the tutorial you have complete experimental freedom.

You get to alter their DNA and genetically splice the dogs by breeding them... except they hatch from eggs and go through metamorphosis as they age, and yes, with literal cocoons lol. The environment of the game and all its crazy colors, along with the weirdness of these "dogs" it reminds me of the extremely underrated Oddballz! Which was made by the same old Petz makers, but never got as popular. For some reason, the breeding system and creating weird creatures reminds me of what Spore should have been. You make the dogs evolve over time. The game is hilarious as well, they're so goofy. Love it <3 Worth every cent.
