The loss of P2P hosting from Payday 2 means that a single player can hold your match hostage for however long they want.

There isn't a votekick or report system to handle griefers either. Why would I play a game if I'm going to be at the mercy of people who want to waste my time?

After not being able to play for over 16 hours, I finally managed to get in and have had much shorter queue times ever since. It does seem that improvement is being made to the server issues. If you can handle the time waiting to get into the game, I'd definitely recommend it. If not, I'd recommend waiting a few weeks for things to blow over.

Does an incredible job at keeping you tense and scared. You build up an arsenal of weapons to the point you almost feel like an action hero but even with all of your weapons you're always only one or two poor decisions away from death which keeps you feeling vulnerable. Strongly recommend.

The game is damn amazing and a must-play for anybody interested in genuine RPGs where choice has weight to it. The story is absolutely amazing and the dialogue system's usage of skills as a gate to certain options does wonders in making character building feel much more impactful.

Hardcore mode is a great way to shake up your experience. The thirst and hunger really aren't too hard to deal with, the real challenge comes from ammo weight and the inability to repair broken limbs through sleep. Ammo weight encourages the player to stick to a single firearm, or even just focus on melee. You really feel like a wastelander when you're stuck with only a few weapons as opposed to carrying an entire arsenal of rifles and miniguns in your pockets.

The only issue is Bethesda's shoddy engine that they remain insistent on keeping. I'd highly recommend downloading the unofficial patch, the anti-crash mod, and the 4gb patch.

Big improvement over Border Crossing. The heist itself is beautiful and it introduces the Federales. The Beast returns for loud but the repair parts are easy to get to. The extra lore it adds in terms of certain characters is exciting as well. Definitely a good heist.

The heist itself is very fun, the issue is that it's very short so there's not much content to justify the price. Buy on sale.

Genuinely my favorite heist from the Silk Road. The scenery is incredibly beautiful, and the objectives are surprisingly unique and interesting. This is a heist that if done with others will encourage heisters to communicate with each other in order to succeed. Silk Road couldn't've ended on a better note.

For some reason the devs decided that making it a two-day heist would be a good idea. So, on top of the already tedious nature of stealth where guards will have inconsistent pathing and the only way to manipulate their movement is to get caught so they can run over and cuff you, any time you fail the stealth of the second portion will require you to go back to the very beginning of the heist. Stealth is worse than normal on this heist and you should avoid it for your own sanity.

Loud is better, though it still has its issues. The second part of the heist is very open with little cover, which in Payday means you'll be getting sniped to oblivion and gunned down left and right. This is only made worse by the fact that certain parts of the loud heist require you to be out in the open.

The heist also comes with a worse version of cookoff to make up for the lack of content. Play it for the achievement and then go play cookoff instead.
