Gameplay-wise, the game is a typical open world in the Ubisoft style: hundreds of markers, towers to open the map, repeating side quests with empty characters, hence the dead open world with inflated amount of loot and constant grinding.
I didn't see here either a good storyline for which the game has a reward, or interesting gameplay. Shooting robots from location to location just gets boring, I lasted for ~30 hours.
It's worth admitting that the game has a beautiful open world, a beautiful soundtrack and well-developed combat (which doesn't save you from the fact that you have to constantly grind so the game becomes boring very fast).
It's surprising that either console players have no taste, or the game just hasn't stood the test of time.

Loading screens kill all will to play. So annoying..

Don't buy Ubisoft games in Steam, it is better to buy them in their own Ubisoft Connect launcher. This suffering is not worth it.

Making a new part of the Metro is a difficult task. Making a new part such that it was more successful than the previous two is an almost impossible task. In this part of the trilogy, players will leave the dark world of the Moscow metro and get to the surface in order to board the Aurora train and explore the regions of the nuclear post-apocalypse of Russia, and together complete the adventure of Artyom, Anya and his friends.

Graphics and sound have improved significantly compared to the previous two parts. The linear level design is mixed with a small open world, and a more advanced weapon and equipment modification system has been introduced.

The story is short, but it makes you think about life. Namely, about the horrors of nuclear war and all the consequences that follow from it. When every day survivors worry about how to live on. People go crazy not knowing where to find water, food, medicine and even some temporary habitat. When there is almost no living place left in the world and everything is covered with some creatures, and radiation exceeding the norm several times on the surface.

I also recommend you to take DLC Two Colonels. It tells the whole ins and outs of the history of Novosibirsk in a concise manner. The turning point is very exciting, and the ending will not leave you indifferent either.

Why did I buy this game?

I can see why people love this game.. But for me it seemed to be too slow and heavy. I can’t call it a minus, rather it is oriented towards a different type of players. Too bad you can't leave neutral review.
