Pretty much a perfect roguelike, you know what you get

Genuinly one of my favorite games of all time. Dialogue can be a bit cheesy and predictable, but it feels kind of 'on the nose' intentional. Overall the game was genuinly awesome, and the fact that you only need one copy to play it with a friend makes it the GOAT. My one complaint is that some of the final game mechanics would have been nice to see earlier, but the game still gets a solid 10/10 in my books.

Absolute blast of a game, the balance right now is "everyone is broken, therefore nothing is broken" and I love it. One of the best F2P titles of this year

Game was still alive with a tight knit community, and now the game has been killed. GG fellas, it was nice while it lasted. Hirez doing hirez things.

The game has come a long way since the first closed alpha, and it for sure seems to be going in the right direction. For the people with complaints about unbalanced items and gods.... Yes.
This is an alpha version of the game. They just added the biggest patch of the games life with many many items being ported from smite 1. People are saying there isn't the same amount as content as smite 1, which is correct because It's an alpha. The game is not at all ready for a full release.

If you want a similar experience to smite 1 in terms of balance and content, wait until the full release when the game is free to play. For now, only buy this if you want to support the next generation of smite.

The one complaint I do agree with is the fact that you have to pay for the gods Individual "ascension passes"... If, upon actual release of the full version of the game, these god specific passes are not purchasable with in game currency like the legendary skins from smite 1, my review may change. Locking basic progress behind a paywall is dumb and predatory.

Fun game, absolutely hilarious at times, though it's a little short (Nothing the modding community can't fix), 100%'ed the game in about 4 hours. Got an S rank on all songs except the final boss one, hunting that next. Would reccomend

It's a fun and short little game. It's pretty fast paced and apart from one or two bugs it feels fairly well polished.

Being free and a game by a student, I can certainly overlook its flaws.

- Play the game for over a hundred hours without major issues.
- Game updates: Suddenly game refuses to start with no info why
- Validate files, find several broken files, steam repairs them.
- Try again; game launches on the tenth attempt, but gets to title screen then crashes.
- Try to launch the game again, get a new error message: "You don't have safe boot on" *Crashes*
- Fix the safe boot via BIOS: *Game launches, I get into a game, crashes after around a minute. No log, just closes the game.*
- Try to relaunch: *Opens EA launcher* "Please sign in to your EA launcher."
- I sign in: "Sorry, you don't own this game."
- I sign in again, this time using steam: *Game refuses to open and crashes every time I launch it.*
- Game now refuses to start no matter what I do.

I'm physically unable to play this damn game. Maybe my life is better for it... EA, you stink.

Has some issues, but the new game mode is a lot of fun and the dragon hatchlings are adoreable. Would reccomend this game as it is a very unique gameplay-loop and it's free to play, so there is no reason not to play it.

Playing this game feels like playing through someone's fever dream in all the right ways.
