The Lag Commander 最近的评测

The OMD series is an excellent game that fills a, from what I can find, fairly niche genre. A mixture of 3rd person action and "Tower" Defense. In a general sense, the action is quick but punishing; you'll need a mixture of trap placement and combinations along with a good amount of orc killing on your own in order to excel. There are a wide variety of traps, and weapons, to suit different playstyles. The artstyle and environment of the game is also charming and it runs decently on older hardware.


There's three difficulties that are basically Easy, Normal, and Hard. Without going into too much detail, Easy mode limits your "Skull" (this games' score) for a level to 2, while the other modes have 5 to max at. Skulls are used to purchase upgrades in both games, however the second game adds the ability to reset your purchases in order to come up with different builds.


This game is what got me really back into the Tower Defense genre, yet also leaves me wishing there was more games of this style. I would highly recommend it and I would recommend playing in release order, as they both have there pros and cons. But overall Orcs Must Die 2 is a good sequel that builds upon the first, making the first feel more dated going back to it.


As far as negatives, the biggest negative is that the second game feels more geared towards co-op and some levels can be more difficult to manage in solo. This is much more notable in the Hard mode of the game. Mouse sensitivity is a weird issue in both games, being that it is much too fast.

Overall, a 4/5.

It looks like a 2d Minecraft rip-off, but there's more to this game than just being similar to Minecraft. It has bosses, many weapons and armor, different interesting places to explore, and some very pleasing graphics. This game is definitely worth a try.

Good free multiplayer zombie killing game. However, it can be difficult to learn what to do and new players will most likely die a lot in their first matches.
I would give it a 4/5. It's highly addictive when you learn it and best of all, it's free!
