I played this game for a while, even getting to Master for two pvp seasons in solo queue. So I do more or less know what I'm talking about.

This recent update prompted me to make a negative review, because of how bad things are. Firstly, Gems are useless as a currency as of now. Previously, you could buy legends, legend road skins, and other things with said currency. Plus, you could alleviate the cooldown on the bunny boxes since those things are time gated, making you wait 3-12 hours depending the box to get stuff to progress on your engravings. You can't even use gems on that anymore, or do anything to reduce the time on those boxes, not to mention you can only hold 4.

That's not even the worst part about the update either. You can only purchase legends with either A. Credits or B. Money. Credits alone are very tedious to acquire, with a daily 1k cap mind you, on top of the fact that it is used for each legends' progression (i.e. Leveling the legends themselves and their passives). This is compounded by the fact that this game is NOT welcoming to new players at all. There are so many things that a new player has to worry about progression wise such as Runes/Engravings, leveling legends, Spells and they are starting in a much worse spot compared to me, a veteran player who has been playing for while.

Veteran players have a strong advantage this update because enchantments have to be acquired randomly and leveled through a gacha system. Veteran players are likely to already have enchantments, especially for their stronger characters and have their enchantments start at a higher level than newer players (since they acquired them prior to the update). New players already have it rough as is starting from nothing, especially vs Veteran players who more than likely have runes, spells, enchantments, and fully leveled passives/levels on their characters. You'd think I'm complaining about nothing, but wait, there's more! The matchmaking system is bad. Because of how small the playerbase is, you are more likely going to encounter these players like it or not...or fight against bots.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, one specific character is locked to new player friend invites only. That sounds interesting and all, but why in the heck would I put a new player through all that? Especially when other alternatives exist?
