A perfect opportunity for this pack to add a asymmetric warfare doctrine, however overall the dlc feels over rushed with lack luster focus trees. Hopefully this is updated to actually be even worth buying.

This game is fun don't get me wrong. If you love flying space ships while building a trading empire this is a great game 10/10. but if you want to have any other sort of combat on the ground this isn't the game for you. Imagine no mans sky with great ship control and variety, but without any sort of land combat, or really any reason to get boots on the ground.

If you are coming from Frostpunk 1 expecting the same experience you'll be disappointed. This game is fun, first of all, though personally the game feels slightly shallow in the building part. You get to the point where everything is pretty much the same building wise, and it doesn't have the same impact as the first when you build that building to give what you are desperate for. The faction system is good in my opinion, the interactions with laws and factions is really immersive. Though laws also don't feel as groundbreaking as the first. Yes I know the game is at a much larger scale, and so small decisions like these don't matter, but the feeling of passing of laws here, is nowhere near the same as the first game as it is just a name with stats attached. The game is good for sure, but I feel like there is just a level that the game falls flat on and personally for me its the building, as it just seems like a any other city builder, but in the frostpunk universe. Though I feel great dlcs and crazier tech paths could very well make this top tier. Personally if you are looking to buy wait for a couple of dlcs and updates to pass and just play the first game instead until then. The game is good at a 6/10 but personally after a while it just gets boring for me, but with time this can be a gem, and I know the devs are just as passionate as I am for this franchise

I first bought this game about a year ago and never got into. Recently I started playing and wow it was one of the best top down city builders and even one of the best games I have ever played. The choices you make really make you feel as if you are moving forward or questions your morals. The other scenarios make this games even better though the only critique I have is that I wish you could do more with the other settlements and that I just need more or this game. This is easily one of the hardest games to play which makes it that much more enjoyable. Can't wait to play Frostpunk 2 when it is releases.

A grind to survive and thrive , however each new tech makes you feel as if you earned it and does things that are actually useful.

I love this game and have been playing for so long. I recommend this game to any who love strategy games and want to find a new one to play. The game is a bit tricky in the beginning to play, but over time you will understand the mechanics as time goes on. In all a great game and would recommend.

Great Game, Mods make it even better though.

Darthmod makes it much more fun ,but without it its not bad at all.

Not as good as shogun 2 but still recommend 4.5 stars.

Five stars rightfully gained great game.Spent 800 hours playing and still more.
