One of my favorite platformers of all time. The atmosphere, mechanics, and story all match up pretty perfectly.

I absolutely adore the texture work, and the megastructure is incredible to look at. The OST is perfect in every single area too, it sets the tone perfectly.

Mechanics all are simple and easy to learn. Adding them all together over time and then fully executing them feels fantastic. Being able to do a newgame+ run makes it a blast to gather up all of the collectibles you may have missed too. A super fun victory lap.

The story hits a great mark of keeping your interest, but also maintaining the mystery of the world around you. And the world is SUPER interesting, at least to me.

If you're looking for an atmospheric platformer that is hard but not incredibly punishing, pick this game up!!

A phenomenal remake of a cult classic.

I have a hard time finding anything bad to say about this. Sure there's some cut content but there's so much new interesting things to replace it I can't really complain.

Stunning visuals and solid exploration is plentiful!

Only real complaint is the gunplay which can feel really hit or miss at times. I found myself tied to the red dot because other weapons had a ton of sway or inaccuracies that made them really hard to use in the more intense sections. Skill issue probably but it was noticeable for sure.

If you like RE4 you probably already have it. If you wanna experience a great remake of a classic, definitely pick this one up.

Really fun and unique take on the tactics based unit game. Pretty solid resource management and variety is alright, you will see some repeating arenas but that's not an issue considering enemy variety.

Really cool mechanics all around and worth the price if you're looking for a challenge with lots of cool moving parts.

One of my favorite strategy games. Simple rules which can lead into fun challenges. Anyone can pick this up and have a good time. Pretty good replayability too!

I honestly don't like Wolfenstein 2.

It still has a bit of jank from the first game but piled on top of weird design choices with the health and armor system. If you're playing this on the harder difficulties you will find that the armor actually doesn't do anything as the health values do not spread evenly with it.

Environments are muddy and hard to read, strange gimmicks plague the more interesting levels and it seems to jerk itself off at any given chance it gets. The story is really where this game gets me. The characters are fun for the most part, but the finale just robs the game of any weight or gravity it tries to have. It feels like a perfect example of completely missing the point and putting too much effort into a moot cause.

And no Wolfenstein 2, I will not play content after I've completed the game, that sounds miserable. Thank you.

One of the best up-and-coming concepts in the industry, and it's completely indie.

If you love making big numbers and playing cards, Balatro is the perfect game for you.

It's not the same Max Payne you grew up with, and that's okay. It's still an incredibly solid game.

I really respect Max Payne 3 for simply just making the player uncomfortable in places most games would show restraint. This game pushes itself and the narrative much further than you'd ever expect it to and then keeps going.

Really solid gunplay and a fun dynamic diving system. Strangely obsessive details in the ballistics too, in harder difficulties bullets will bounce off body armor as well as deflect on surfaces.

Pick this one up on a discount and you'll have a great time, if not made a little bit uneasy but the subject matters presented.

Cyberpunk 2077 started off rough and I won't pretend it's a perfect game, but what they've made is simply great.

The class building system is so much more fun to use and the skills you get are REALLY fun. Cyberpunk isn't afraid to let the player become a 1 man army, a perfect stealth machine, or a flawless execution netrunner. There's really something here for everyone. I really enjoy the side content, which there is plenty of, and the world is really fun to explore.

Campaign feels oddly short if you make the right moves, which is hard to do unless you're trying to piss literally every single character off. Keanu Reeves is a delightful tumor and I really mean it, he's a great character to be barking at you near constantly.

Overall, 2077 truly hits home in a fun and comprehensive experience. I will say the only downsides here is a little jank and that you need a pretty beefy PC to run it. If you don't have a good PC, I don't recommend torturing yourself to make this game work.
