That's awesome. That was our first game together and my first time PC gaming, L4D2. He was my brother, he was a genius at all of that kind of stuff, and a musical prodigy. Check out SSFMP on youtube, you'll find some of the music he made, some of it was inspired by L4D2.

sucks to hear, man. I remember coming across his guide on setting up a L4D2 server nearly 11 years ago. I left a comment about some issues I was having and he immediately added me to his friends list. I was just a dumb kid back then, but he was patient and kind enough to help me set up a server so I could have fun with my friends. I don't remember many things about most of my online friends, but he stood out because of his kindness. Really sorry for your loss.

Hey, you probably don't remember me but you helped me fix my framerate on L4D2 like 6 years ago when I was just starting out on Steam. I remember I let you use remote control on my laptop to go through and see what the issue was, and I just wanted to say thanks. You were the first person to teach me that Internet Explorer sucks.
