The game is a great and long awaited continuation of Hollow Knight with new concepts that make the gameplay very unique but also stays true to its roots.

For me personally, I haven't encountered any boss fights that had me on edge, but I haven't been to the last 2 locations yet, so that might change.
But what has had me on edge a lot were the parkour parts. At some point I decided to main the reaper build just for the hitbox of the downward attack so I could do it better.
Generally the idea of having multiple "builds" adds a great replayability and makes every new run exciting and fun, the only thing that kinda annoys me is that you have to get memories for every build, but it's expected.

My main complains so far are that in contrast to Hollow Knight, you rarely find any Mask Shards. Sure, it's the first day of release, but I've been checking every corner of the map and so far only managed to find 5 Mask Shards; and the Achievements (0.03% of players have obtained 4 Mask Shards as of writing) seem to agree. And for the low amount of HP I find it frustrating that a LOT of enemies deal 2 damage per hit/chain.

Game is very fun, looks good, has cool cosmetics and lots of memes which make the game even funnier.
I truly see potential in this game becoming an e-sport game (which it already kind of is/was), but sometimes the elo is not corresponding to the actual teammates you get. While the base game is fun, as soon as I queue into competitive on my own I get literal first graders who have never touched a keyboard in their life, nor do they have the ability to read yet. I can't comprehend how these people even got to install this game, let alone install Steam. Like, your team could have the most meta comp with the most broken characters in the game, but if your goalkeeper rushes into the enemy goal every single game there's just no way to cover for that fault, and playing goalie with forward gear is more cancer than inhaling exhaust fumes. Anyway, great game, dumb players.

If you don't study every single frame from every single character in the game you will never win a single match unless you spam some random ♥♥♥♥ as Ky cuz that always works.
Bonus: If you make a single mistake or accidentally commit one missinput you already lost the game. If you don't play pitch perfect every single match you will lose. Skill also doesn't matter. You can have 100+ hours on the best characters ingame and still lose to some Floor 4 May spamming the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dolphin because this game is really balanced.

I like the game a lot, been playing it only for the past 3 days and it's been fun to explore all kinds of places and witness the whole story unfold. Right now I'm trying to get all the achievements and when I finally got the closure ending, I didn't get the achievement for "Get all the endings" even though I did get all 6 endings. A little disappointing and cucking me when I'm on the achievement hunt, but I'll guess I just have to get the closure ending again.
