You want to know why I love the Emoji Movie? Fine. You got it, buster. It's because its PROFOUND. The film knows what it is, and that is a deep, thought-provoking yet playful romp through the mystical land of Textopolis. The deep and introverted character of Jailbreak is fantastic. Her hatred of being an unchanging emoji is so perfectly relatable for many, struggling to come to terms with their ineffective ability at changing aspects of their own life. Don't even get me started on Gene! You want deep? Look no further then Gene. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Meh. A TRULY phenomenal character who has everything to lose. We see his evolution as a character through his journey as he tries to come to terms with what emoji he truly is. The films sheer depth will never be understood by the majority of the population, and that is a crime. A victim of the stupidity of the modern man...pssh. It ashames me to be part of the race that wont appreciate the film. Thats why I love the emoji movie, kiddo. Deal with it.
