There's actually a small bug in the KF2 server software - if a dedicated server is started as hell on earth and then the admin uses the webtools to set to easy... the XP remains as HoE and the map completion counts as HoE, but the enemies have easy health and easy damage... Idk why they haven't fixed it. No one kicks me from my own server, even if it does take up a few gigs.

Only way to play community maps publicly is to either find a server that hosts them or to make your own server.

You can find tutorials on YouTube how to host KF2 server.
It's easy to set it up and then you can add any maps you downloaded to it.

Just start the server, launch the game and find your server in Server Browser.
Other people will be able to find it and join too.

I've been running my server and the game on the same PC.
Running server on the same PC as the game didn't had much impact on my game performance.
