Early access? More like early bullshizzle.

Finally something other than the usual fantasy trope ARPG.

I've been playing this for a while now, and while I initially was turned off by being forced to play a particular hero (ala diablo and many others), I soon warmed to being able to run around as my favourite Marvel character instead of my own creation.

Some folks complain that this game is 'all about $', which is kind of a no-♥♥♥♥ argument. It's not a charity. If you spend a regular subscription fee cost ($15) a month on this title, you'll get a lot of mileage out of it. Just don't waste it on frivolous ♥♥♥♥ like boosts and you'll get good bang for your buck. Even then, you don't actually have to spend anything. You can get by just fine with the free stuff, although storage can get tight. Additional heroes can be unlocked using in-game currency (not paid currency), as can team-ups and some other stuff. Nothing you *need* costs money at all.

The game-play is quick and engaging. No slow battles that drag out. You're either done with a fight quickly, or you're dead quickly. The difficulty starts at a pretty casual level, where you've got to try to suck in order to fail, and ramps up at a pace that's barely noticeable.

Grapically it could do with a few more options for high-end systems, but it's still no slouch. You can enable a bunch of options via nvidia control panel that help to beautify it above the 'default' graphic options set in-game.

The one complaint I have is that lag can be a bit of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes. Unless you live near the datacentre (west-coast US afaik), you'll experience lag as a problem at some point. It's something that even proxies/tunnels can't rectify as server processing time adds a significant percentage to the response time.

Set fire to naked men and women with a flare gun. Would play again. 10/10.

Cheap, easy to pick up, hours of fun. Absolutely awesome xD
