After about 1-3 hours the game consistently crashes. I have also had some random audio glitches. The game itself suffers from issues I had from the last one. Climbing and crawling break the pacing and flow of the game and cause you to go from fun, to cut-scene to fun. The story is quite good and the combat is about the same as the previous game, but nothing incredibly new with this one and a lot of the old things I don't like so much.

Edit: In a wonderful turn of events, this plan has been cancelled. I don't know if I recommend buying the game, but they did listen to the community this time. Hard not to though, I suppose.

What an incredibly fun, and insanely good game that they decided to ruin.

I had already made a PSN account, but couldn't recover them due to a flawed recovery system so I almost couldn't play the game anymore without making a new email just for this one game.

The absolute clowns that made the choice to block this game need to apologize to their community, and go back on this ♥♥♥♥ decision. Do NOT buy this game unless they do.

The developers must be insane to think this game is worth what they're charging and they clearly are with how much they're charging for the skin lineup with no way of earning free ones in game. If the game is early access, let it be early access. Charge like it is. Ascend was free and it's really the same game in almost every way.

This game is not feature complete (yeah early access) and they are charging over 25$ (CAD) for base game and over 50$ for AI generated skins that you don't even get automatically. You have to play til you win a game every day to get the AI generated skins that you way over payed for. No way to buy skins individually or do it for a month. You either pay for a year that's unlikely you get everything for, or you don't get it at all. I recommend the latter. Don't buy this game until the price is lowered or the game is complete. Don't let devs get away with this.

Too many people and there aren't enough resources, but it's an absolute blast even then. Best played with 2-3 in a group. Still incredibly fun alone.

So I went into this game with clearly much higher expectations that I should have. It's probably my fault for not doing the research, but I'm still pretty disappointed. I was hoping for some sort of improved combat optimised for realism and some physics differences from the normal game release. But of course there's none of that. You and your gear just moves through everything. The default settings take you out of the game in a huge way, although I was able to fix that through settings. But that brings up a whole difference issue with the way controls work which is entirely difference from every other title I've ever played in VR.

TL;DR : Nothing makes sense, and it's the same glitchy mess as normal but now you're closer to the screen.

Fun game to play alone or with a few friends on a local or online lobby. You can play without any dedicated server as long as the same person hosts. Lots of bugs, but nothing that stops me from wanting to play.

This game is fantastic for solo play, online servers, and just messing around with friends. It's got some jank to it, but it is worth playing through it for sure!

Y'know those days where you're sitting looking at steam or whatever else, you browse Netflix for a couple hours but can't find anything that interests you, you sit there waiting for something to feel worth doing cause clearly nothing in your life can fill that void... y'know? Well this game has fixed that for me. Sometimes you just feel like playing it. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing anything else. It's well worth the money with the amount of content it has and it always feels fresh. Definitely recommended.
