Don't expect a fancy game... it's very simple. That said, still fun.
If you mess-up a road, you have to start over, which can be a challenge on busy levels, but easy enough once you know what the AI traffic does.

If you want to spend hours perfecting a mind-numbingly complex and self-inflicted maze of a factory, that ends-up looking like a technology-filled spiderweb, then this is definitely for you! You start with just 9 basic resources, and end-up making >206 things... all interconnected with conveyor belts, inserters, and hovering logic bot helpers. Try not to make a mess figuring out how to get a material from "A" to "B"! (You'll still make a mess getting "A" weaved through your factory to "B").

This game is a puzzle and a half in the late-game, but it's fun to figure out! The puzzle is only as hard as your own lack of planning and forethought to think "I think I'll need to use this item in 20 different ways by the time I'm done!" ;-)

Nostalgia 100%. Played this back on Windows ME, was a fun game then. Is very low-polygon by today's standards, but no less fun to play.

Disclaimer: This game required the program dgVoodoo with the DirectX tab "Fast video memory access" and some other settings adjusted to work on a Win 10 computer (same old program,) but it wasn't difficult to figure out. Also, the help said to "copy" the .dll files from inside the dgVoodoo -> MS -> x64/x86 folders and paste them in the game folder with the .exe "[DRIVE]\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Episode I Racer\". Works like it always did with those fixes.

(Updated 11/30/2020) I WANT to Love this game! I really do! I love flying games, and this one works well (in the first area.) That caveat is the reason I can't really like this game... I dislike it a bit because of the first 4 issues described (first 3 [3rd & 4th NEWLY ADDED] in particular). ... This is coming from a pilot, and I'm going on a deep-dive into the issues, be warned. ;-)

Firstly, something about the game (either the graphics, buffer size, or something else) is optimized poorly such that the second area drops the FPS to single digits on a good MSI gaming computer! I have NO issues with any other game (can easily max-out settings on most that I play), but I have to drop the settings to almost the MINIMUM to get decent frame-rates. At normal and even reduced settings, it is so bad that I couldn't leave a base in the middle island without crashing into something. (That's coming from an Airline Pilot, so that should tell you how uncontrollable it becomes with the terrible terrain loading.) This is manageable with early-2000s-level graphics settings.

A second frustrating issue the game has is the way the banking and rolling works (really doesn't) when in "airplane mode" with the Ox's or Ballena's extended wings. The "banking" in a real airplane directly results in turning (quite quickly unless you keep the roll-rate high enough.) This game doesn't do that nearly as much as it should. You can put the Ox in a 45+ degree bank, and nearly nothing happens unless you pull up on the elevator. This makes turning much more difficult, since it's basically an elevator-only aircraft at that point, and using the elevator results in climbing a lot more easily than turning.
Linked with the 3rd issue below, gravity isn't considered enough. In a 45-degree bank, an empty-cargo Ballena can't be flown below 150 m/s (~290 knots). For comparison, the Speed Limit below 10,000 ft (~3,050 m) in the USA is 250 knots! That means the ENTIRE GAME is played below that altitude (due to "SKI" radiation), AND above the real-life speed-limit! ... and the Ballena CAN'T fly slower than that! Seriously!
Real airplanes turn just because the wing's lift is directed into the bank of the turn, before "extra" elevator pressure is applied, and the lift from the wings is far more effective. There's a reason VTOL aircraft have Ailerons and a Rudder! They are actually necessary and not just there to make it look like an airplane! It's closer when using the elevator just enough to hold altitude, but it's not nearly enough for the speeds involved.

[Newly Added] Thirdly, in testing to update the second problem, I found another Major issue with the basic aerodynamics of the aircraft (Ballena especially). The speed has little to do with the "attitude" (pitch) of the craft at all, and the control effectiveness at different speeds is not right either.
First is speed... I put the Ballena in a climb, and it climbs normally... but the problem is detected when descending. I put the Ballena in a 50-degree nose-down attitude (with "0" engine thrust) and it did NOT accelerate above 130 m/s! That pitch attitude is over 3x what would normally cause a real airplane to accelerate with idle power! That means the game only considers >engine power = >climb rate, without including the acceleration of gravity. No engine power equals no speed, even when nose-first towards the dirt!
This affects the controls, because they are tied to the airspeed. No airspeed, no controls.
The Ballena's controls are so ineffective and sluggish (in airplane mode) that it feels like I'm flying a cruise ship! Even the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747 can move their controls at least twice as fast, and they are at least twice as effective too.

Until these 3 issues are fixed (the 2nd and 3rd are definitely the deal-breakers of the three,) I would not recommend this to others. I very much hope that they are fixed, and I will probably keep playing it, but It is not enjoyable when the game puts aircraft with cruise-ship controls in steep mountainous terrain with volcanoes, geysers, and unrealistic 1-4km-altitude aircraft-destroying radiation,

Fourth, there are a bunch of frustrating things that conspire to destroy fragile cargoes. 1st is switching between VTOL mode and airplane mode. The game jolts the aircraft to the new lift equation, and frequently causes cargo-damaging spikes to the "G-Loading" of the aircraft. The lift-change should take the entire time that the wings are folding in/out, not be instant.
(Side-note, the G-load scale is off from reality by at least a factor of 10, maybe 20. Some [mildly fragile] cargoes can withstand up-to 60G [60x gravity], whereas a human being passes-out during extended >9G periods. Also, the aircraft's movements are far more limiting to even the most fragile cargoes than they should.)
2nd is random glitches. I sometimes load a cursed cargo that possesses my aircraft... I load the cargo, exit the trader, then my ship decides to turn upside-down and violently shake like something from a horror movie! Other times a random change in the air or the pavement shocks the plane to the core, knocking-down my cargo's health by 40%.

The game itself is a good game: graphics are good, plays well and is repeatable, and the level design is quite cool on many of the levels. However, there are 3 cons below.

Holy Achievements Batman! There are 2 achievement types for every level (opening & completing,) and there are 4 copies of each! Open a level... 4 achievements. Complete a level... also 4 achievements. Why? Gets old after level 3 when you're still completing them faster than Steam can flip through 8 achievement notices for every level. Seriously, this is a stupid feature... even with it being the 4th part of this game.
That is the main reason for my downvote, also that I was able to complete the whole game including optional achievements in about 45 min.

Another slight issue I had was, the blue ball (target object) is sometimes affected differently by clicking the same red-explodey-block at the same time as before. This is particularly noticable when a level starts-off sationary and you click a red block to start-off the level. Sometimes the ball pushes the yellow-block towers harder than on previous attempts meaning that later interactions are different, sometimes failing a level. Basically, the physics are slightly inconsistent.

Very much the most deeply moving and emotional documentary (and accociated game) I've ever seen. It speaks on an emotional and personal level that moves the heart in very profound ways. I have a dad that's survived 2 run-ins with (in most-cases) curable forms of cancer. He was in his 50s at the time and it's gone (for a long while I guess,) so our results weren't as moving as this. However, one of my uncles died of side effects from cancer treatments in his 50s. I still can't quite imagine what this must feel like (to have it be a son or daughter,) but I feel that the video has brought me closer to that understanding.
I have known for a long time just how blessed I am to have the family/relatives that I do, and everything in this video very much reinforces everything that it means to value those I'm close to. You just never know how much time you have with them. It doesn't have to be cancer either, it's just cancer is worse than most due to the struggle.

Graphics is very good, it is smooth, and the AI is pretty well balanced, and the issues below have been addressed.

1) (Fixed Issue) The accuracy count literally "forgets" all except your current round for kills, but keeps ALL of the shots fired. By the time the player gets past round 5 or so, the "accuracy" count drops below 20% because you've shot ~70 times overall, but the kills for the current round only is about 10. Big oversight in the stat counters. EDIT: Also, just thought of another reason the "accuracy" count is broken. "Accuracy" in any other game means "average chance a shot fired HIT an enemy," but here it means enemies Killed. Enemies with armor can take 2 "hits" if hit from the wrong side.
All in all, this game counts accuracy as: "number of enemies killed (last round only) divided by the number of shots fired (for the entire match)."

2) (Rebalanced and tweaked points/difficulty, fixed) This is the main reason for not recommending, there is no way to save upgrades between matches AND you can't upgrade between rounds either. I.E. Any coins spent on upgrades are forgotten the next time the player loses. If you can collect coins at all and spend them before a match, WHY forget the upgrades after the match is done?

3) I know this is a very simple game, but the planes mode makes me cringe.

A LOT has changed since I wrote the below comment, adding to the issues present in 2017.
The game is now post-release instead of Early Access (and fixed.)

I would recommend this game: the graphics are great, the story-line is complete, and the mechanics (while not entirely unique) are "used" in a very unique way (being the first S.C.U.B.A. sandbox game I've played.) It is very much worth it and an enjoyable game.

Two words: Buy Now! 100% More-than-satisfied. I've had this game for years when the multiplayer was through GameSpy (long since disconnected) and was very disappointed when the multiplayer support closed. MANY thanks to Steam for reviving this "Great" game.

New flight simulators have been released since this program's release in 2006, but this is sill without-a-doubt the most comprehensive, realistic, customizable, and fun flight simulator through 03/2015. There are also MANY websites that store mods for this game, just search and see what you can find! Quality control of 3rd-party downloads is up to you though because there really is so much content ranging from airport layout and texture fixes to weather and surface vehicle customizations that noone could possibly check it all. You can find aircraft as professionally made as the defaults, to crazy craft that defy every law of physics, (made to fit SciFi movies and TV shows of course!) ;-)

This program helped fuel my passion for flying from the beginning, and I'm now a Certified Flight Instructor in Louisiana, USA. Another real-life note, some flight training centers that have simulators capable of being used for actual logbook time have used this program. Like I said, this "Game" is thorough and realistic (unless you fiddle with the settings alot.) ;-)

A well-developed space, RPG, MMO game. Deserves much higher than a 66% metascore. Having played it since before beta version, I have seen just about everything. Because it is now free to play, you have to try it if you like anything spaaaaaace or MMO related. Sure you can spend real money for things, but there isn't anything that can't be acquired just by time. This game will seek-out the Portal 2 Space Personality Core in you.
